I assume that it is either a plug that transports one of them to the other's engine, or a utility like Nova's Port Authority that would translate the files, none of which are illegal and the second one was included with Frozen Heart. Whether it is worth using is another question entirely, and whether there is a market for such a thing is yet another.
Illegal? Probably not in light of Ambrosia's treatment of similar things in the past (ie allowing EV and EVO to be ported to Nova, and in fact releasing an official version). A waste of time? Almost certainly.

He's referring to getting Nova, and downloading the new plugs that port the EV and EVO scenarios over to the Nova engine.

OK, let me get this straight. 1:You pay for ev, and the licence thing dosent come up, you dont, the licence thing does.
2:It is like a utility that when used gives you EVO usingEV plugs and things, just bung it into your plug folder, OK?
3:I'm soon going to make EV to EVN and EVO to EVN.
