While recently playing ev classic, a female friend brought up a question (and a whole slew of related questions) i had not yet considered: 1. Is matt burch the man in blue on the startup screen? 2. If he is, does he have any more modeling pictures online/availible to players? 3. If he is, does he subvertly support the "Rebellion"? 4. If he is not, who is the model? 5. If there is no model, has Matt created other images containing this mystery man? 6. If there is no model, should we, as innocent gamers, worry that we are being subjected to attractive fictitious space captains elsewhere in the game?
i'm just voicing some concerns...

The man is blue is just a Rebel officer, apparantly leading a strike against a Confederation planet. I doubt it was modeled after anyone in particular.
