Since I suppose the damage of the Plasma Cannon is supposed to be directly proportional to the Plasma Gun, you might want to modify the Plasma Gun to deal 2.5 armour damage, rather than 2.
I'm just looking at the per/sec damages here. The Plasma Gun deals 25 shield damage per second, and the Plasma Cannon 40 shield damage. Considering it's over twice the size, this seems a bit unfair for you. My suggestion is to have the Plasma Cannon deal 3 shield damage and 7.5 armour damage. This comes out at 60 shield damage per second, which more closely matches the Plasma Gun.

Okay, this is the first bit I have something of a problem with. I'm sorry, but at the level of technology we have (plasma weaponry, proton weaponry, et cetera), it's unlikely that a melee attack is going to be very effective. Plus, your description of it seems somewhat... unreasonable. If you're set on it, actually get something like AIM and we can discuss this better.

I don't think so. If you have the capability to penetrate an enemy's shields and armour so easily, all your other weapons would be Godly, and I'd have to revoke them. I don't see how you could get into the ship, and for your information, it's rather difficult to eat a hole through military grade armour.

Not powerful enough. What I'd suggest depends on its mass, but bear in mind that the Particle Beam in EV was almost 10 times as powerful against shields.

Okay, unless you have a horrific number of Cimaxes, the armour is pathetic. As for armanent... looks a bit weak. Add another Plasma Gun or two. As for "4/5ths of missiles miss", which I've just come back and realised was Misc data and not armanent (d'uh) ... you can't really say that. Just leave it with your Speed. Y'see, some missiles are more likely to hit than others.
Regeneration: I'll get back to you on that.

Okay, hold on. This "immune to sensors" thing. Where'd you get the technology for that? Do you already have it? If so, write up a description for it, explain how it works and make sure it has some sort of evident disadvantage. I'm not allowing you to have one ship which for some inexplicable reason can't be detected by sensors.
As mentioned above, Infector is revoked from there, and Claws, don't know yet. Add 1-2 more Plasma Guns. Regeneration: I'll get back to you on that.

First note; there's little use having cannons on a slow ship. Take out the cannons, add maybe 5 more Plasma Turrets. Infector is revoked and the claws may be, we'll see. As for the Acid, I'd appreciate it if you specified the Acid as an outfit (at the moment, it's like saying a ship is armed with "Plasma" or "Bullet") and then gave the Rex a number of it. I'd suggest something like "Acid Glands" ... in which case, you can give so many to one ship and so many to another.

Xenocide: First off I would like to say that the fastest ship in EV is the Defender at 500 speed. Your flightling has 650 speed and is 4 times more powerful in every way. This flightling could easily defeat any ship in EV. Also try designing your ships and weapons in ResEdit that should make them more workable.
Unreal: Xenocide is simply being unreasonable. This will be an EV webstory however and the plot and ships should probably start out in a similar way (You claimed to be a sub-confederate so you already have access to the best ships). Also the Winter Tempest is an unbeatable weapon, which will probably not be allowed.
Stardust: Your last post is confusing, can you clarify?
All: Since recent posts make running an unupgraded pirate empire impossible I will make a few adjustments.
First of all my government captured a vessel several years back with a basic cloaking device. Now cloaking devices have been outfitted on all Kestrels and Corvettes as well as mercenary vessels used for illegal trading.
Second the leader of the "protestors" in the Despair Asteroid belt (me) is a genius and acquired leadership due to the invention of a new technology. A communication damper. While this would be useless for massive offensive strikes small well-planned raids and defenses could benefit from canceling all communications out so only if ships escape could information get out. This would also be installed on all Kestrels and 'vettes.
Like i say wich commodity changes on what planet and by how much. and if a person wants their planet distroyed, then they can Email me and say so. and ill post it distroyed.

As I see it, the Flightling is the only ship I'd have to put any thought into blowing the **** out of if I played stock Rebellion, Confederation, or independant. However, there are a horrific amount of matters I need to see to in Xenocide's statistics, which I'll do... tomorrow, perhaps.
And please, everybody (particularly Xenocide here), display things clearly.

It sounds like you might have an idea what you're on about. If you can get AIM, please do. I have a few ideas and a lot of respect for somebody who's using stock independant ships.

History: Little is known about these people. Confederation media claims they are just rouge colinists, but there is a rumor spreading that they come from another universe entirely. The only support of this theory is a sanner record of a Planet-Sized ship carrying close to 100 trillion people. They have extreemly advanced technology acording to most scans, but they do not use these weapons on intruders unless threatened. Instead they psyicly incapacitate the crew of a vessel and tow it out of thier space. However an un-affiliated band of pirates attempted to retaliate to the psi-pulse by utilizing elecro-static shields instead of plasma shields. The pirate fleet was then considered a threat and was decimated. Not one pirate ship survived. Although COnfederates would kill for that weapon they realize they can't aquire it by force.

"dparanoidschizo" I gurantee very little time on line due to studies and music lessons. While I would prefer that you didn't use the exact ships and weapons with different names, I'll allow it if you can come up with an origional government to use them. Except for the Winter Tempest part, that weapon is way too powerful to be used in a balanced webstory.
