To desert: A previous post in the webstory
To UNREAL centipeade.
Black holes do not expand also if you had created one there would no longer be new cydonia. No armour can withstand black holes. Light cannot withstand blackholes. You couldn't capture it because anything within a system would get sucked in. Black holes are stable therefor not disapering because if it was unstable it wouldn't be created. I know this univerce is different than our own but still physics still exists. Facts still exist. And apparently incompetent people still exist! I wish you would know what you are talking about before you post. And I want you to answer each question above logicly. And also do not avoid some questions by answering only one!
P.S. by the way if you had read the rules or your physics text book you might not of embaressed your self by your incompetentance. Have fun aswering the above questions.

Ships I forgot to post in this forum. (Read this at the risk of immense boredom, I fell asleep writing it.)
Hammerhead: Speed: 400 Turn: Very Good Accel: Very Good Shield: 30 Armor: 40 Outfits: Installed cloaking device, installed 6 Electron cannons, always go through spaceflight training so they get standard upgrades, in other words, RCS, Engine, Thruster, Equivalent of 2 shield boosters, Equivalent of 6 Shield Enhancers (+30), streamlined shape, improved armor (+10) etc. Special weaponry: Specialty design that allows them to cloak and enter shields into battery to be restored. Heavy alloyed front end for puncture collisions against hull only when shields are down. Damage: Energy: 10 Armor: Disables.
Missile Frigate: Speed: 280 Turn: Poor Accel: Good Shields: 500 Armor: 300 Using a system of modified javelin rockets this ship is formidable against any large vessel. Standard Outfits: 2 Xenocide repulser wave, 10 frontal modified reload javelin launchers (combined rof 1000 rockets per second)m, 10 manned turrets placed up the sides of the vessel to target attacking fighters. (Independent rof 100 rps) Due to specialty reload systems all can be refilled from a stockpile of 10 Million javelin rockets. All flight school upgrades included.
Hammerhead bay: Carrys 6 Hammerhead fighters, launch time 2 every 2 minutes. (2 launch simultaneously due to double size entrance.
Hammerhead Carrier: Speed: 280 Turn: Poor Accel: Good Shields: 500 Armor: 300 Built from the same basic design as the Missile Frigate this ship is fast but does not turn easily. It is essentially a fighter carrier for the dangerous Hammerheads. Outfits: 10 Hammerhead bays (60 Hammerheads), 2 Xenocide repulser wave, 12 electron cannons.
That was the biggest waste of time ever.

Star-duster,I have mor than one bone to pick with you.
1.Post complaints on this OOC web-topic or begin with "OOC:" 2.An enegy containment device that suts down and releases deadly particles and be re-used IS reasonable 3.Your protection of Unreal is uncanny. Then again you are probobly him. 4.Your "Moderationship" is a bunch of hoo-ha. You are merely a spamming-topic staring-physics illiterate- MORON! Just because you started a topic doesn't mean you control it...Leave that up to the mods...or ELSE!!!
P.S. Shut the hell up yourself!

To stardust The mines don't "magicly come together" they basicly are laser cannons that are triggerd when enemy ships come near. You would of known that but aparently YOU DON'T READ YOUR OWN WENSTORY!!! And you alwas tell us to read it HYPOCRITE I don't care what you people come up with as long as it MAKES SENCE. NOTHING you Hypocrites come up with has any logic behind it. If unreal has logic to back his mouth I will not care but if this aparrent two year old continues to make CRAP UP well we can alwas do paraniod's back up plan. I will send it to you desert. and What he said EDIT: It's valid under what sun? And are you high? or drunk? Or both? And P.S. Don't profanity me stargeek Double edit: EVula we need to get a moderater who knows what he is doing. ------------------ Are we sad because it rains or does it rain because we are sad?

I will withdraw my mines if you pay fair compensation of 5 Billion credits if not I have other defenses I can install such as a rock wall and fixed jumpgates so all ships that enter my systems are destroyed. I Could be Invincible, but I play fair I do not go down to the Inferno which you belong in.

Oh Stardust almighty king of mispelling you might want to look at your last post.
Look at yours

And yours. You spelled Captain wrong in your name. Spelling mistakes aside, i think it's time to wrap this story up and write a sequel. With a set number of player slots so there isnt a lot of newbies entering. Some writen and unchangable rules would be nice too. If there were writen rules you wouldnt have to accuse them of making things up.

Ok thats good. You write the rules about Trade comerse and other things like that, and ill d the battle and Pepole stuff.
It's good to have you back U.E. admiral. I also agree with the fact that there is actual rules to live by. I however think that no one person should acctuly write the rules. The rules should be decided by everyone. And I don't care who will be the next moderater as long as it is no one that will actully participate in the webstory. I don't care if you elect me I will no accsept and I urge the matter would be controlled by some one neutral. Like EVula but he is probably to busy to hlp us so we would need someone that we all would agree on to be moderator. And it should be in total agreement. So here it is simplified
These are just suggestions but they should be thought about, and concidered
P.S. Paraniod spelling dosn't matter unless we don't know what they are saying.
U.E. Admiral it is good to have you back. If you read the story I am already beginning a galactic escape from the galaxy. This provides room for a sequel and an end to the potential of this webstory. All systems my allies own would be transported over a period of 200 real time years, but for us due to relativity only several years would pass. The new galaxy is also a good excuse to bring aliens in and traveling lets the remaining players maintain their identitys an agendas. I also agree that set slots must be utilized. Finally I must say that due to moderation and fairness in general a completely impartial moderator must be selected. Meaning that they could not have control over any faction but would only be a referee. The problem with this is that it would be the most boring duty possible to have.
<wanders in>
Uhh... impartial moderator? No playin' in story? Hrm. I might be available, but I'll warn you... if you do want me to moderate this sequel, a couple of you might seriously regret it after a bit - I'm kinda' harsh on the revoke and moderation thing sometimes (not to mention being prone to turning existing rule systems on their heads - how would you like to abolish money altogether?) I tend to be impartial, though, so...
It strikes me that this webstory turned into a flame fest not because of a lack of an impartial moderator, but because it doesn't look like you have a regular AIM community. For example, in Eve of Destruction, the people who don't follow along with the rules are without exception the people who don't talk to everybody else on AIM. And if you do have realtime communication, you get problems solved quickly and conclusively, rather than spending all your time bitching in the actual topic or in the OOC thread. (Of course, if you do build an AIM community - assuming you don't already have one, what would I know - the story moderators become arbiters for any chat room discussions.)
'nyway, if you need an impartial moderator, I'm up for it at the moment, providing you give me something nice to read now and then. Reading fleet updates gets rather boring, y'know? The whole moderator-doesn't-play-in-story thing wouldn't be too bad either, since I'm a bit short of time and I'm already writing in EoD (on the EVO forum.) 'do think it's rather an unnecessary precaution, though.
Yeah... well... see what 'ya think, 'kay?
Oh... one more thing. I haven't noticed a single poster on this page who doesn't need to work on their spelling, grammar, punctuation, writing style or clarity, so you might as well quit insulting each other.

Okay, if you need the Confederation for this sequel, I'm sure I could do it.

See Microsoft's 'Switch' Campaign; just goto (url="http://"http://www.EVula.org/beeblebrox/convert.pdf")here(/url)
Ok here it is: Major Gonverment (each?): 2 Players Minor: 3 Players Bounty Hunter: 5 Players
Ill fill the second position in Confederation.
I take Trader or merchant. And I think the two Major ? goverments should be confederate/ rebel I also think that Their should be smaller sects like a smaller group of feds or rebles Aka smaller factions.
I say that we shall move to another univerce. New planets, new syts, New races like alien races. Suggestion- all aliens be much more powerful than humans but they should take time to communicate with.
5 Bounty hunters? That would be chaotic. Also a pirate goverment is necessary in this case as well as minor goverments.
To Desert tempest: I will concider jioning the EVO web bored if the new one we are plotting isn't good. I acctully think it might be because there will be no moderator who is involved. I hope you will join i it being that you are a very capalble writer but as I said if it doesn't workout I will go to EVO or EVN To SilverDragon You are now our impartial moderator. That is if every one else agree's. by the way what is your favorate faction. (aka rebels, confeds, etc.)

I do so hope I just agreed to be the impartial moderator in the next story... and not to be the moderator of the current "EV Webstory" (I'm far too far behind to do that one.)
As for my favourite faction... I don't particularly have one. Obviously, the game is tilted towards the Rebellion both morally and militarily, with the Rebellion having a superior navy to the Confederation as well as apparently the ethical high ground. Now and then, that leads me to support the Confederation anyway. I don't think much can be said about the EV pirates - they are pirates, and it's quite clear they don't have much in the way of a meaningful agenda, unlike the EVO renegades could be said to have. As for the aliens, if you include those, there's hardly enough information about them to draw any sort of logical conclusion. In the Lethe-Cydonia war, I tend to side with the Cydonians, mostly because nobody else does.
But really, I don't have any existing bias. The only way I know to get me biased against someone is to persistently write crap and completely avoid any sort of character interaction and narrative/descriptive text. And usually that's only an 'iqqle bias...
As for everyone else agreeing, it strikes me that "everyone else" didn't even notice my post. <sticks tongue out>
Hey... one last thing, Xenocide. Do we have to use the yucky number-based money system for everything? Has there been a single EV webstory that has taken a more relaxed path? It's quite interesting, looking at the webstories that spring from the two communities - EV stories are all very mathematical, and tend to be based on absurdly low government money incomes, whereas EVO stories have a more relaxed ship production (per post, per day or per post in the topic) and research system.
