This is where I would like any OOC (Out of Character/Out of Context) discussion to take place. Short OOC sentances are fine in story as long as they are noted as OOC, but any long winded complaints or comments need to be in here. Please do not make entire posts OOC as that messes up the research post count.
My first mod action: I don't like all of the standing orders being given to planetary defense fleets. My biggest problem with them being stuff like "wait behind the hyperspace entrance point" or "wait in maximum effective weapons range of hyperspace entrance point." Considering each system has a hyperspace entrance point for each of it's adjacent systems I think it is highly unlikely that your defense fleets know exactly where to lie in wait. We have gotten through many different webstories allowing attackers to determine planetary defense fleet positions in one player battles and I see no reason to change that.

I think everyone is ready enough and has their fleets in order for us to allow attacks. So here it is officially: Attacks are now allowed.
Vice Admiral, should we expect the map to be updated in accordance to changes of fleet positions and system ownership?
Also, what are the rules regarding independent systems? Can they be taken? What are their characteristics?

Unfortunately, I have to vacate my position as Terran military commander in this webstory. I am not going to have the time to engage in fleet actions. Therefore, I now leave Jager in the position of supreme military commander. I'll remain as political leader, and post as much as I can. Sorry.

The psychological manipulation was all in good fun, Rak. You don't have to take it take seriously. <winks>

I fully intended to win the webstory, but unfortunately, due to the intervention of real life, Jager will have to win it for me.
Unfortuately Jager has an even more imposing list of things to do that you, Rak. Needless to say I am not in the least impressed by this after you repeatedly declined additional Terran players.

Sorry, but I had thought I would have a lot more time than I actually do.

Well, unfortunately I don't think anyone else will have the time to run the Terrans all by themselves either. Until we find a player, or players, to play the Terrans this story is pretty much dead. It would be unfair, and probably not a whole lot of fun to continue this webstory without anyone playing the Terran fleets. I would rather this story die now than have it turn into the one sided fiasco that An EV Webstory was. I think the only option is to put a halt to posting until all of the governments are represented well enough to make the story worthwhile. I won't go so far as to say that it is canceled completely, but with the lack of people willing to sign up for the story over the last few weeks is any indication we won't be able to find the necessary people to continue. Once again, it seems Rak's lack of foresight has doomed a webstory. The least you could do is stay until we have a replacement.

So the webstory is suspended until further notice...darn. Try to convince some more people to join, or someone could always just switch to the terrans from weave or pirate.

Being I'm the only one who doesn't control a subgroup or major faction, I could take command of the Terrans.......

No offense but you are a very new and inexperianced writer and I doubt yuo would be able to represent the Terrans by yourself.
None taken, I would rather be a pirate anyway. But it looks like this webstory is losing players pretty fast.
Okay I think I have a solution to this problem. If everyone is still interested in playing here is what we will do. I'll start the story topic again so we will have a clean slate, then firestorm and I will take over as Terran players. I can handle the political and military leadership and firestorm will back me up as a fleet commander and second in command. Esponer has tenativly agreed to moderate for us if things get out of hand, but the basic system will be the same Me, Asriel, and RMA will be Co-Mods. My current faction, the Evildrome Confederacy will cease to exist and RMA will be in charge of all Pirate worlds. Since the Pirate's won't be two separate factions RMA won't get 360M this time... instead you will have 260M. Tell me what you guys think and hopefully I can get this started later today.
What about the Hunn'sta and Sauridians? Otherwise sounds good to me. I guess asriel'll just control them too.

If firestorm would prefer to be a pirate, why not give him the Evildrome Confederacy?

Because just one person for the entire Empire might be difficult, especially if Ipvicus has to mod too.
If he still wants to be a pirate that is fine, but I would rather he be a commander under RMA instead of keeping the Evildrome Confederacy around. Specops is right, however, I would like to have a second in command if at all possible. The more players the better as far as I am concerned.
