Travis watches his fleet compleat training. i there getting as good as me. his thoughts get interupted by a communication from his fleet "sir where being attacked by pirate agrosys, requesting permission to fire" "permission granted" travis responds. an hour later travis calls a fleet meeting. So we better leave cydonia before he gets here" he replys. Then Tara leaves and and he felt his kestral jerk as the battle fleets land. Then they are in hyperspace. After 10 days they are in Satori. 2 days earler he decided on joining the rebllion fleet. He fills out the appclation and they say you have to wait for luke to eather approve or dissaprove your appclation...

Rak, watching the northern theatre explode from his comfortable quarters in the Benevolent, decided to end the madness. He ordered the Zeta group to venture to Levo and from an orbital garrison. The Zeta force consists of the following:

Zeta force travels from Capella to Levo. Rak ordered the force set up the following way:
Orbital Defense Sentinels in high earth orbit, being shielded from some torpedo hits but still being able to dish out heavy punishment.
Cruisers hanging right behind the hyperspace exit point, ready to pump fire into anyone that enters the system.
Prowlers patrolling near the entry point, ready to launch a barrage of deadly ordinance into any attackers.
Fighters screening the Prowlers, ready to pounce on the mosquitos.
Rak sat back in his command chair and pondered the Northern fleet situation...

Chaos reigned on the bridge of the R.N.S. Enterprise as news from the battle of Yemuro came in over the subspace radio. Marshal Ipvicus looked on in horror as he read the news of the destruction of the R.N.S Yorktown and Rodger Young.
With a look of grim determination he ordered Battle Groups One to form up and prepare for battle. Before the fleet entered hyperspace however he was hailed by a group of fighters that were screaming up from behind the planet below them.
"This is Colonel Gilead Fel of the 181st Republican Fighter Group hailing the R.N.S. Enterprise , you wouldn't be planning on jumping into that bloodbath without us?"
Ipvicus recognized the name, as well as the unit, immediately... the 181st was the most decorated and elite fighter wing in the Confederate Navy. Since the beginning of the Rebellion they had become famous for their daring attacks on Rebel smugglers, and near impossible raids on Rebel military bases.
"181st this is Marshal Ipvicus, I would be happy to have you along, lets go kill some Rebel scum." ------------------------------------------
As Battle Group One came out of hyperspace in the Yemuro system Ipvicus scanned the sensor readings that were flashing across the terminal on his command chair. The battle was not going well for the Confederation. Rebel Cruisers and a host of smaller ships had almost surrounded R.N.S. Defiant and the few support ships still with the Fleet, including a small force from Levo that was valiantly protecting the remaining Republican ships.
The newly arriving Republican fleet smashed into the Rebel's flank with a vengeance. Guided ordnance smashed into the Rebel formations sending Destroyers and Warbirds up in flames, entire squadrons of Mantas were destroyed by missile fire from the massed Frigates and Gunboats. As the Enterprise slid into range of a Rebel Cruiser it cut loose with a devastating combination of Particle Beam and Neutron Cannon fire, actually cutting the powerful rebel ship in half. His Frigate's concentrated torpedo fire on another Rebel Cruiser, and as its shields collapsed two Prowlers swept in and finished it off with space bombs.
The Rebel fleet, despite its losses, was not defeated yet. Regrouping from the surprise of Battle Group One's flanking maneuver, the Rebels launched a large contingent of Mantas in an attempt to break the vastly outnumbered Confederate fighter force. Numbers alone, however were not going to defeat the 181st. Backed up by Ipvicus' own three squads of fighters the 181st were the Angel's of Death incarnate. Flying with skill and coordination never seen in a fighter unit, the 181st made mincemeat of the attacking Mantas, while only incurring minimal losses.
Running low on ammo and unable to withstand the steady advance of the Confederate Fleets and Independent fleets, the Rebels quickly disengaged and retreated to the orbit of Yemuro. Still outnumbered Ipvicus kept his ships from pursuing and only offered a few parting shots after the retreating Rebels, then proceeded to set his fleets in defensive formations.
Seeing the need for further reenforcements Marshal Ipvicus sent an encrypted message to Battle Group Three ordering them to back up him position as soon as possible.

Travis, I really hate to do this, but your refusal to acknowledge my comments on the other thread leave me no option. You cannot post or play until the Rebel leaders have assigned you a fleet. You can also play as Cydonia, and construct a fleet worth 300M credits. However, from now until you formally recieve or build a fleet, all of your posts are meaningless and should not be acknowledged. Okay? So go and build a fleet or get a fleet from the Rebels! Oh, and make sure you tell me about your fleet before you take it into action.

Asriel hung up the phone. He'd just been talking with (official title?) Rak, telling him he was in fact recovered from his viromonocleionisis. A very rare disease; Asriel was lucky indeed to have survived it. But enough woolgathering, he thought.
Rak had taken control of Asriel's fleets while he was in quarantine, and Asriel was actually quite pleased with the way things had turned out. He'd lost ships, true, but the Rebel dogs fighting him had lost more. Far more.
Theta Force was currently positioned at Turin behind the hyperspace entry, tearing into any lone Rebel ship that entered the system. Xeta was deployed at Matar, having seen no action yet. Force Zeta was at Levo, after having survived another clash with Rebel ships. Standing orders from the RSIA were to deploy and defend the current system, so Asriel did just that. Theta was fine, but the others needed work.
At Matar, Asriel organized Xeta to defend both the hyperspace exit point and the planet. He placed the slower Cruisers and Gunboats around the exit point to shred any ships that came through; any that survived would have to penetrate a wall of Prowlers and Patrol Ships to get through to the planet. Six Orbital Defense Stations backed up the Prowlers and Patrol Ships, just waiting to fire off their reserves of torpedoes and missiles. At Levo, Asriel organized Zeta similarly, except that there were fewer ships.
All was going well, as Asriel waited for more orders from Rak...

He couldn't believe it- a mercenary with a possible trade agreement with the United Merchants Guild had retaken Kathoon for the Rebellion. Such poor business decisions some make.. Eagle thought of the small 10M payment that the mercenary had recieved.. he wondered if when the day was over Spl_Cadet would savor his money. Upon hearing of the loss, BattleGroup1 was ordered back to Levo. Immediately upon arrival the President turned to his console and punched up the current financial status of the UMG's Naval funds. With the Confederation's payment, a crisp new 30M sat with the previous 50.910M from before. Oh what pain 80M can cause.. President Eagle called up the current Confederate pricing being offered to the UMG and noticed that the agreed upon price of 150% the base had been lowered to a mere 110% the base. Today was going to be a great day for the Navy..

10 Orbital Defense Sentinels have now been placed in the Levo system. The ODS's are situated in high orbit. They are positioned so that the atmosphere of the planet in question will deflect a few torpedo hits. They are prepared to fire a barrage of torpedoes and missiles at any time, and their computer grids have been synchronized with that of the garrison at their planet.
As the fleet arrived home, it welcomed it newly arrived Confederate Allies.

President Carnotaur of the Lethe Republic looked at the design plans for the Corsair, the latest and greatest achievement of the Lethe. It was essentially a corvette on steroids, powerful enough to tear through blockades, and, if piloted right, could even take out Kestrels and possibly a Confed Cruiser.
However, there was another ship that the Lethe were planning on constructing; the Raven Assault Fighter. But, unfortunately, that would have to wait for some time.
Suddenly, the door opened and Colonel Scorcher walked in. He was in command of the ground forces and research centers on Lethe, was a trusted friend of Carnotaur, and was also an former assassin, mercenary, and pirate. Quite a background.
"Report on the fleet?" Carnotaur asked.
"In perfect condition, sir," Scorcher said, smiling to himself. "I've been very careful to make sure that they take dozens of drills and war games to ensure their skill and superiority in battle. You can never be too careful nowadays, with the Rebel vs. Confed war and all these blasted Pirates. Speaking of the Pirates, do you intend to lead a fleet to crush the nearby base."
"Indeed I do," Carnotaur said. "I want to give the men a little bit more time to prepare, however. Have your marines stand by to board their ships for the takeover, and keep on training them. Dismissed."

Rak, after happily receiving seventy some million dollars in ship purchases, decided to make a power play in the Northern conflict to end it immediately.
He first submitted a ship purchase order: 2 Confederate Cruisers Mk. II = 25.62M 20 Prowler Corvettes = 48.8
Total Cost = 74.42M
Rak assigned these forces to the Zeta force at Levo, which he personally ordered to travel to Matar. He left behind his ODSs at Levo. Once there, he fused the fleet with his new purchases and came up with the following fleet stats:

He unloaded the fighters from his Cruisers, and came up with the following final figure:

Admiral Matthew Cunningham stared intently at the tactical display he had just received from Prime Minister Rak concerning the Battle of Yemuro. The Battle was looking decidedly nasty for the RSIA, but that was not his immediate concern. He looked up as his command, Battle Group Four, came out of hyperspace in the Ursa system. The Ursa Planetary Defense Fleet was already on high alert and immediately began mobilization. As his flagship the R.N.S. Centaurian began launching its fighters, his three frigates began launching torpedoes at the Cruiser in the center of the Rebel formation.
The entire massed Rebel Formation came barreling in towards his steadily advancing fleet, the extremely fast Mantas mostly able to dodge the initial salvo of missiles fired by the Patrol Ships. Both fleets came together in a flurry of proton bolts and heavy rocket fire, and despite their spirited defense the Rebels were quickly overcome by the sheer firepower of the Confederate battle group. The powerful Rebel Cruiser, already weakened by the barrage of torpedoes was torn apart by particle beam fire from the Centaurian as the Escort Carrier and Warbird were surrounded by Prowlers and Frigates. Soon the battle was over.
Ursa now under the control of the Confederation of Republican Worlds
A few hours later Admiral Cunningham received news from Battle Group Five that their own offensive and proceeded similarly and that the Agena System was also under the control of the Confederation of Republican Worlds.

Theta Force in Turin moves from Turin to Yemuro to reinforce the Confederate position.
Shade looked at the map of the southern theatre, and had a brainwave. Quickly he opened the message systems and began to speak.
"To Prime Minister Alan Rak of the Confederate Republic of Worlds, from High Commander Shade of the Olympian Solidarity. If the Solidarity were to neutralise, shall we say, certain nearby assets of a power hostile to the Confederate Republic, how much would the aforesaid Confederate Republic compensate the Solidarity? Sincerely, High Commander Shade, leader of the Olympian Solidarity."
Punching the "encrypt" button, Shade sent the message on it's way.

Zeta Fleet: Matar Cruisers mk. II: 4 Prowler Corvettes: 30 Gunboats: 48 Patrol Ships: 46
The Zeta fleet prided itself on quick mobilization, and that had to occur right now. Zeta Force was heading out to take Turin and Zaphod, and increase the Confederation's income. The fleet was moving in half an hour, and set co-ordinates for the first jump to Yemuro. They went:
Matar ---> Yemuro ---> Turin
Turin, currently, held exactly one Rebel Cruiser. The Confed Cruisers disintegrated it quickly, then demanded the planet to surrender. The almost pitiful defense fleet came out -- a couple score Mantas and a handful of Destroyers.
The Mantas were incinerated by the Gunboats and Particle Beams, and the Destroyers were taken out by the thirty speedy Prowlers and their rockets and bombs. And then, just as soon as it started, it was over. Turin was a Confederation planet.
The fleet quickly mobilized again, and headed for Zaphod.
Jumping into Zaphod, the Confederation Warfleet took the system completely by storm; it was only guarded by a handful of warships and fighters anyway.
The Prowlers were at the front lines, demonstrating their incredible maneuverability. They managed to evade most of the torpedoes, and some of the missiles fired at them. Firing heavy rockets from all four launchers, the Prowlers decimated the Rebel Destroyers and Mantas at the front of the Rebel defense fleet.
The Cruisers firing unloaded torpedo after torpedo on the scattered Rebel ships. The Patrol Ships fired on anything within range, while the Gunboats' heavy rockets devastated the faster-moving Mantas and Destroyers.
A single Rebel Cruiser left the planet, broadcasting a message of surrender. Asriel accepted, and radioed back to RSIA HQ: Success!
Turin is now under Confed control Zaphod is now under Confed control
