It was a creative story project though, so she said it was ok if I did something like that. Some people wrote about frozen yogurt covering an entire city and being eaten by one person. So, in the end, my story was actually one of the more serious ones.
Anyway, the idea came to me when I was really bored. I was gonna use Safety Man Joel from the begining, but couldn't really think of much, so I added a character and came up with a great idea. I got a 100, so I guess it worked.
On AoeII, one time I set up an attack of archers and cavalry on the north coast of the enemies island. Once the coast was clear (literally) I sent in a vilager and had him build a few towers. I then put archers in the towers, and sent in more troops and made them stand defensively in the towers. I slowly purued south until I had aroun 20 towers on the coast. Then I sent in a larger, more advanced troop and attacked all out on there village, and wiped them out. I would have gotten around to building walls around the north part of the Island, but I killed a lot of their villagers and squandered the ability to attack back. So I won fairly easily.

It's NBA All Star weekend, one of my favorite times of the year. LA is gonna win the All Star Hoop it Up. Peja Stojakavic has the 3 point contest in the bag. Jason Richardson's got the sickest hops and will win the dunk contest.

Today is my birthday! (2/10) I am now 15. hoorah.
Man, the dunk contest was ****ed up. If they want a real contest, they should get Tracy McGrady, Jerry Stackhouse, whoever won the previous match, MJ, Vince Carter, and Kobe Bryant. Then change the rules back to 3 dunks per round, 2 tries per dunk, teamate dunks are optional. Who would watch that? I certainly would, and it'd be a lot better than the crap they showed last night. And please, what is up with the internet voting?
On a nicer note, Happy Birthday, Bari! ------------------ "If you could have any car in the world, what would it be?" Yeah, that would be a real dunk contest. Except MJ doesn't have good enough hops to compete anymore. They did the rules to give more variety, and to avoid seeing the same dunks every time. But in the long run it hurts the players individual performances. Like Stevie Francis, he couldn't palm the ball so he flopped on that dunk. The internet voting is because the fans want to be "involved" in the process. I was right in all my picks except for All Star Hoop It Up. Oh, well.
I thought Francis was gonna win, despite not being able to palm it. That wheel really screwed him over.
Man, Kobe got booed duiring his all star MVP award ceremony. I feel sorry for him. Philly's his home town, his dad played for the Sixers, and he got his jersey retired at his high school. Man. Read my topic on B & B for further thoughts.

Worse yet, my parents are pushing me to get my driver's lisence. I cannot stand to drive, and insurance these days is extrememly expensive. But I probably need to go ahead and get it, as it'd take plenty of pressure off my mom (taking brothers to piano lesses, Bible class, driving myself to Biology classes etc.). Life for the homeschooling parent is more then busy...

Driving these days for the teenager is as safe as aiming a gun in your face with a nervous finger at the trigger. I personally don't care for driving, and neither does my older brother. He never even got his license until 18. Hopefully I can wait until then.

Skyblade, I would love to be able to drive. I want to start going to the local gym again (I had a membership for a while, but I could never get anybody to drive me there so I rarely got to go), I want to start going to movies and stuff with friends more often, and that kind of stuff. My parents are pretty old for parents of a 13 year old (45 and 52) so they rarely "have the energy" to take me places I want to go.
What grade are you in, Jimbob? Those stories remind me about my sixth grade class- there was a kid who wrote stories all the time about Secret Squirrel, Scooby Doo, mutant penguins, radioactive teddy bears, drunken elephants, asteroids with bad tempers, and every cartoon character you can imagine. They were always fighting for total world/galactic/universal control, usually with Secret Squirrel being the peacemaker and making them all sit down and shake hands/claws/tentacles/whatever. The kid was nuts, but the teacher loved the stories...

Well, heh, you are the guesser, aren't you? Yes, I'm in sixth.

Agreed. I don't exactly hate driving, but there are other things which are much more fun (and safer) that I like doing a lot more. I'll probably be getting my license in a couple months, but that'll be once I'm 17 already. Luckily, I'll be able to get pretty much every insurance break in the book (Good student (surprisingly the biggest one) taking Driver's Ed now (boring as hell, but it will save you a lot of money in the long run, so take it if you can), and there's a cut after you turn 17, which I get if I don't get my license until then, plus I don't have my own car yet). But I still probably won't be driving a whole lot once I get my license. I think the only time I've really had fun while driving was on a straight, flat, wide open freeway. Aside from the speed, those are the safest places to drive, and the danger from speed is minimized when there aren't many other cars around. Of course, I'm also one of those rare weirdos who actually sticks within 5 mph of the speed limit. You get passed a lot that way.

Ok, I have a starcraft question. I just started experimenting with zerg, and I love them, but not for one problem I am having.
My friend is always protoss, and makes nothing but scouts and carriers. I am helpless!
Sure, a fleet of scourges can wreak havoc on a fleet of unescorted carrires, but not when there are 30 or so scouts. They get shot down before they can do anything. Mutas are horibbly weak in their attack, even if upgraded. They are a joke. Devourers are ever more of a joke. There is about 45 minutes between one shot and the other, and the attacks are not even exceptionally strong. Against scouts, they are nothing.
I tried using defilers and plague, but that does not help a whole lot. Any suggestions for anti-air as zerg? They seem completely helpless in this situation.
Defilers. Plague the enemy airships and then they will fall like flies. Also use upgraded hydras as your anti-air units.

Try putting hydralisks under a dark swarm. Use ensnare to prevent the carriers and scouts from retreating and plague to take down their HP. If you use devourers and mutas, let the devourers attack first and bring in mutas after they attach their acid spores. This also lets you use scourge to greater effect. If they retreat, parasite them so you'll know when they're coming to attack again. This almost always works unless you don't have as many upgrades as the Protoss.
