I'm never zerg because they are my worst race. Here is my comparison of skill level with each race: Protoss: 8 Terran: 7 Zerg: 3 at best
And devourers are seriously overrated.

Speaking of stories, we have to right a creative short to mid legnth story in English about anything. All my classmates wanted me to write something about Bob trying to teach the world to fly (inside joke), but I came up with this: Super w00t Man and Saftey Man Joel (Model after my friend, Joel). They are fighting the evil AOL Dark L0rd and his plot to make AOL Sp33k a major world language. Heh. I'll post the finished copy if you want me to...

On a completly unrelated but rather sickening note: The USA, which accounts for about 3% of the world's population, consumes 50% of the resources consumed by the entire world.

Not entirely. Battlecruisers properly used will certainly screw them over, along with probably Carriers, but aside from that, nothing else really has the ability to just flat **** up a unit the way acid spores can. They're generally best when used with support units, though. If you've got multiple races, Corsairs or especially Valkyries work real nice

Actually it is more like 25% but we also produce 25% of the world's products and feed probably about half the world off of the midwest. Not sickening now.

Mac, I doubt the gateway you use affects who you can talk to. It says that it does not affect what games you can join.... I am US East, btw.
Corsairs? I do not understand those. They have 1 special ability (disruption web) and their attack is something like 4 or 5. 4 or 5 should take 20-some-odd hits to destroy a single wraith, yet the corsairs shred through wraiths. They have such a weak attack... Do they just shoot real fast or something?
I have found valkyries to really suck in 3v3 or 4v4 games. It gets so busy that the map maxes on how much can be shot, and in the heat of battle valkyries are the first whose missiles won't even shoot. I maxed on them once, went to fight some carriers and they wouldn't shoot. Someone explained it was a bug caused by so many things being shot at once.... Since that game I lost but should have won, I sort of stopped making those unless I was playing 1on1.
Go ahead and post that story when you're done, Jimbob.
ares, west coast and east coast are 2 different servers, people on different ones can't talk to each other

They claim it doesn't, but it does. This has been proven in experiments.

They shoot extremely fast, like Zerglings. They also have splash damage. Valkyries only do 6 damage too, but again they shoot lots of Missiles and have great splash damage.

It's primarily a problem in money maps, where there can be hundreds of units engaged at a time. I think the reason that Valkyries are affected more than anything else is because each of their shots requires two Missiles, and it's hard to find an opening with that many shots available in huge fights. It's sorta like the MaxShotsOnScreen for EV, we just don't know exactly how big it is.

I have sort of stopped playing 3on3, basically because of lag, and the fact that success depends 2/3 on the competance of your teammates. Also, I find that only 1/5 games do I actually play 3on3. 1 or 2 or 3 or more people almost always leave within the first 10 minutes, completely ruining the game. I have been playing 1on1. That way, I have a better chance of winning, and if the other guy bails on me I get the win.
Nice strategy...
Personally, I like having someone else to back me up in a pinch. 2 on 2 is usually a nice setup. Of course, it can become problematic if your ally sucks or if he drops, but it works most of the time.
Ah Bari you posted our battle!!! Personally I hope its the one with you as terran vs me as zerg, because you royally kickethed my ass in your protoss game vs. me as zerg haha

How can protoss counter huge fleets of battlecruisers? I maxed out on corsairs and scoutships, and even had an abriter lock down half of his fleet. He kept sending wave after wave, and eventually I had nothing left. In the future I would probably make more corsairs and less scoutships, but then I have no real offensive weapons... And God knows what BCs do to cannons.
Try using a bunch of templar and Psi-storming them. Anyway, I had my brithday yesterday (16th) and got two really nice gifts from my family. The first was Age of Empires II Gold Edition and the second was an iPod. Yeah!

Happy Birthday!
Both of those gifts are great; I wish I had both, not just the former...

Do the opposite. Scouts are much better against Battlecruisers.
The thing with air units is that there is a model for how to use them, and how they interact. Blizzard calls it the air balance model. it boils down like this. There are three types of air units: Tactical units (Mutalisk, Wraith, Scout), Support Units (Devourer, Valkyrie, Corsair), and Cruisers (Battlecruiser, Carrier). Generally, Tactical units are effective against Cruisers, Cruisers are effective against Support units (and ground bombardment), and support units are effective against tactical units. Now, there are some minor exceptions and problems, but generally this is how air units are designed to be used. The main exception is that Zerg are weak against Cruisers in general, and the bug is that Tactical units generally need a little support to be truly effective against Cruisers.
