As regards CD buying, you're right about using MP3s to test them out before hand. I mean, hearing 5 second clips on Amazon doesn't really help that much. Then again, I bought the Black Rebel (Hey, I might be onto something here) Motorcycle Club album this week on impulse and got lucky

That did sound quite strange.
I didn't play EV after late 1996 and I downloaded EVO sometime in 1999 at which point I actively joined the boards and stopped lurking. I got bored with EVO after about three months and stopped playing it as well and am eagerly awaiting, much like many others on these boards, the release of NOVA; though I refuse to go to the NOVA board to find out anything about it.
