I think you could probably be independent if you really want, Asriel, but we're starting to have so many of those... Confed would probably be better.

He's got Jimbob in two places. Where it says Jimbob for the Rebels should be Overrider720, unless Jimbob hasd some kind of deal where he gets two fleets. If that's the case Skyblade, can I be Diphidia II president too?
Also, I believe we decided Asriel would be a Confed. I'll go update my list too, just to make it look good.

Sure, I guess so. I don't see why not.
You'd probably need to be online atleast once a day to stay in tune with the webstory. I'd even recommend three times a day to avoid the troubles of the later BFS webstories...
Also, there are quite a few people why already have alliance ideas in mind. Between now and the start of the webstory is a good time to plan out a few tactics and strategies.
