The only reason you made an exception for the Macross was because you priced it so close. But when you start making exceptions on someone's fleet, just because it is 10 million over, then you start having problems. Because then we can charge favoritism, and you would have to start making exceptions to everyones fleets and the rules would be completely meaningless. Besides, this is blatant favoritism, as he is an ally of yours.
Did we ever figure out what was going to be done with players whose government was destroyed?

Cadet, I've begun to notice that every time something doesn't go right along with your "pirate law," you make plenty of fuss about it. First it was the Dreden Battlecarrier (which you thought was crazy, and it only has 5,000 more shields than the Macross ;)), and now it's a dumb matter like this not even worth complaining about. Ok, semi-major map and homepage updates. Milky Way map redone with added Pirate fleets, added Skyblade to Sentarus.
Azdara Ace - you forgot one key thing when posting your fleet, looks like - where do I put it? For RC, I need a fleet number (probably would have put that up tonight with a temp, but I'm low on time) I also need a number and rank for Saint+.
Also updated the roster. Question marks denote people I haven't seen around in a while and I'm not fully sure if they're still with us. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pirates know something about Asriel that I don't; if that's so just let me know. Other people I haven't seen I recommend emailing (of course, I realize RC can't email JCuck... Moose do you have his address, and if so and he wouldn't mind, could you post it or email it to RC or something?). It's time to be putting fleets together so we can get this going.

Ah, shaddup. You pirates are usually the first ones in favor of the lessening of the rules. I've bent the rules plenty from what I intended for you, you can look the other way when I bend the rules slightly for someone else. If you want to argue about it, I can always reinstate my version of the rules on how fleets go through systems with enemy fleets present. But as Skyblade said, arguing about these things isn't going to get this done any faster.
I hope to get Pirate and Dreden weapons yards with temp/some permanent graphics up tomorrow.
Mac, I checked out the updated Homepage. The "micro maps" are a cool touch.
I don't know what else you changed but my fleet is "listed" in El Santo and "appears" in Ruby. And your fleet is listed in Polaris and appears west of Atropos.
I don't know why you keep saying it works best in that crappy MicroSoft browser, but in Netscape 4.6 (which worked fine before) the map is all "kerphlooey". Just thought you'd like to know....

The fighters are so pathetic I'm not gonna bother with them. The destroyers have enough point defenses to destroy them quickly. Can I replace the unused hangar space with more guns and missiles?

No, hopefully it's not going to be just you a SC (you are not the only fleet commander ). We will have several fleets in and around that area so you wont be alone when the attacks are launched.
Also what do the alien players think of heavily coded messages on the boards. It would be much faster that me emailing all off you. I would sent you the decoding procedures by email(gard it with your life) and it would add a bit more realism to the story. Unless you think it would takeup to much valuable enemy-fleet-destroying-time.
