I'm holding out for a bit to see if everyone materializes. I heard from Corey today, now I'm mostly waiting on JChuck, see if he shows up or not. I don't wind to wind up with a 4-5-5-4 balance and then suddenly have an extra player to add to the mix...

Yeah, I've heard the HBO mini-series is excellent. Haven't seen it...
I've read "D-Day" exactly six times now, and "Citizen Soldiers" (which I believe is Ambrose's best) seven. I actually bought "Band of Brothers" for my brother's 19th birthday, and I believe I read it more then he does.

We're waiting on a little more than just him. I still need a revised fleet from ElG7, a fleet from Cyber-Dragon, and fleets from Jimbob and UE Crusader (any of those mentioned who read this, get with it ). Oh, and a fleet from Corey, but I expect that in my email sometime in the next day.
Also, I just uploaded the Pirate weapons section. Any weapons that you Pirates have invented (i.e. not Javelins of Heavy Rockets) that you don't like the graphics for, send me or post new ones.

OK, as the above... um, the above... the above, uh... er... thing! Yeah, that's it, the above thing! Where was I? Kinda lost my train of thought. Oh yes. As the above thing states, my fleet is ready for battle.
BTW- I notice that, for a superior race, the alien weapons look quite pretty but in the ways of damage- they suck. Royally. The HC are have a balanced system, though I can imagine many HC commanders using the "20" Massdamage of the Space Bomb to their advantage... Any chance of an Alien version?
More BTW- You said anything that is not specifically posted means that it is to be used as it was in the original EV, correct? There is one that I feel I must mention, as it has the potential to be rather important. EV says-

Fleet looks Ok. You could buy a Heavy Fighter with that last 4 million, if you want. leftover fleet money doesn't get converted to gov. funds - if it did, the HC would have a couple million from my fleet. Say, maybe I should change that...
I will need your fleet location before I can post it though. The hidden thing was a BfS II deal only.
Anyway, as for the damage ratings - if you're thinking of the beams when you say they suck, remember that beams do damage much more rapidly. Don't try to compare beams to cannons directly, the damage measurements for beams should be used to compare to each other only. As a reference, I'd put the Fusion Particle Beam at about, oh, 50 times as powerful as a single Turbolaser (very rough).
