I thought I answered, but can't find it now, so yes.
Also, I think KK's exclamation points thing is a joke about certain posts in the last thread. I'm pretty sure he's not serious.
Off the subject, but how many of you webstory participants would someday like to see a Star Trek webstory? I'm just curious...

Well, Star Trek sucks in my opinion so no is my vote. Would anybody care to respond to my post on the last page?

"Hmmm," muses KK. "I'll have to watch that Mac. (Strokes his envy-of-all-other-pirates beard ... finding a pair of Torgonian stink beetles. (Mmmm, tasty!.. :D..)) He's not as dense as people say...."

Well now, your posts went so extremmely far against the rules in episode II that I don't know if I should take your opinion seriously about a Star Trek webstory.
About a year or so ago, I thought Star Trek was totally stupid (too much of a Star Wars fan). Now, I've probably surpassed Carno as a Star Trek fan ( ;)), and I believe a Star Trek webstory (especially at the Override forum) would get a good deal of attention.
As for your question on the last page, you can be the pirate ship or weapon's designer if you like. Just make sure you can do the graphics...

No, Star Trek would not make a good webstory.

I don't know. If it's with the prime directive bla, bla ,bla you can't kill anything then what's the point. If there is a hint of Star Trek a hunk of EV and a little something something. (this always happens, when you say it it sounds cool when you type it it looks stupid) Then I think it sounds good.

Can a government control a jumpgate? Basically, render it impassible for enemies until someone else destroys all enemy fleets in the jumpgate sector and then capture it?
Ahh, good we're up to 4 ibn the HC now. Moose, what kind of web story experience do you have?
I'm thinking we'll probably have to end up moving Asriel to the pirates, and someone from the Dreden to replace him, and maybe one more from the Dreden to the pirates. In case it works that way, volunteers from the Dreden to go to the Aliens or pirates? Volunteering does not in any way guarantee that you get moved at this point, I'm just coming up with likely scenarios here.
If KK joins (You with us here, KK?), I think we'll probably have enough players, though the more the merrier.
Rak, jumpgates can be used by anyone at any time, pretty much. However, if the Aliens have a fleet stationed at one end and an HC fleet comes through, it will probaby be badly mauled quickly, as the Aliens could have strategic defensive positioning all around it.
Yes,it's called "blockade" or "kick-a$$ strategy" or "we are the Empire!Die,puny humanoids!"
About this replacing Asriel with some ex-Dreden player,I don't really mind. But as Emperor,I don't want any converted ex-Windoze geek! The Empire is about quality in quantity and kicking infidel a$$.

None at all. Mabey you can fill me in?
I'd like to join, if it's ok:
Name: Corey Initials: CC Govt.: HC (or whatever is most convienient) Preferred Rank: Ensign for HC and DR, and Lowly Slave for Alien (something low - I want to have to earn a reputation) Webstory Experience: None. This is the first I ever heard of a webstory, but it sounds like a great idea
Am I in?

Yes, a government can control a jumpgate. It is that government's responsibility to protect his jumpgates with fleets to protect his galaxy / empire. If an invading fleet takes control of a jumpgate system, then it is now in the invader's control.

We'll see, we'll see...
Mac- For now, don't worry about swapping players. Just let them register with who they want, and when it's time to begin the webstory, we'll see about evening out numbers.

You're certainly in. Thanks for joining the Human Confederation, they could use a few more players.
As for your requested rank, it's probably likely you'd start with a lower rank anyway. Members with little or no webstory experience will usually have to play well to earn extra ranks.
Thanks for joining!
