The Boozerama Bar 2

Insano thanks the rebellion and promises it won't happen again. Insano then jumps into a confed system where a new confed cruiser has just launched. Insano sends out a fake distress call so they board the ship. Insano has set up small laser turrets inside the ship so anyone entering the ship the he does not allow is shot. All of the confeds are shot and Insano then boards the fed cruiser. He then calls the rebellion and they send in some more people so they can man the ship. Insano just got himself a new Confed cruiser.

OK, now someone can start a Boozerama 3, I just passed the 200 reply limit. Not that we need to until someone locks this.

OK. Now, in Rebellion space, we call those things the "Big Blue 'Shoot Me' Sign". Why don't you fly it on through Rebel space? I'm sure we haven't told all the ships yet, and how would they distinguish yours anyway? 😛

The technical officers on the ship are pure genuises. They made a signal that only Rebel ships can receive. When received it plays this message: Please hold your fire! This is Confederate Cruiser Insano Star. This is a captured Confederate Cruiser under command by Rebel operatives. Please do not fire. This is a valuable ship to the rebellion, and, if you fire upon it, the consequences will be severe.

Luke, I added your pilot profile.

Yay! 🙂

Luke wonders why no one else is in the bar. He is to drunk to go and look for them.

Macavenger comes back to the bar, and gets drunk with Luke.

Insano tries to go and park his cruiser outside the bar but brakes too late. The cruiser rams through the bar so now the left half of the bar is gone. Fortunately, that's not where the drinks are stored.

Luke and Macavenger barely notice that half the bar is missing. As long as the drinks were not harmed, they don't give a rat's a**. Insano staggers in and Luke offers him a Beeblebrox Beer.

Rawzer gets up from a pile of debris at 3:00 in the morning. He fell asleep in a booth on the right side of the bar.

"What the #$*!?"

His head has been whacked by a titanium vial of some sort. He picks it up and opens it.

"Chirpo! What are you doing here?! You belong on the original thread!"

<chirp>

This is the end of my post.

Noooooooo!!!!!! Not Chirpo!!!! Please spare us! Insano gets his fill, then walks back to his cruiser and falls asleep.

Um, what or who is Chirpo? Why is Insano so scared? Should I be pointing my blaster at RZ here?

Chirpo is Rawzer's pet cricket from the original BB. I believe that he had demonic powers that frighten everyone. Or Rawzer's constant talking to chirpo is what scares me, I'm not sure which.

I just got a corvette, added a couple things, captured a couple of ships. Now I have 750 tons of cargo space. Fun! I also have a torp, missle, and heavy rocket launcher on my ship. All of them have 10 missles. A layer of durasteel and a layer of armaplast. Cloaking device and a missle jammer. Laser cannon and proton cannon. I'm telling you this so that if I start to talk about my corvette fleet in here you know what I'm talking about.

I didn't post a single reply to Boozerama, don't know much about it, but I'm just as involved as anyone else in Boozerama 2. There is no method to my madness. 😄
Anyway, how bad can Chirpo be? (Walks over to Chirpo.) See? he's cu- OW! The dang thing bit me!

Insano grabs a blaster and starts shooting at chirpo. He misses and tells everyone to try and get him. Everyone keeps missing chirpo until there's nothing left of the bar except ruins.

Macavenger doesn't shoot at chirpo with everyone else. Instead, he shoots right by the heads of the people shooting at chirpo until he has their attention. "OK, before any of you continue, tell me exactly why you don't like this chirpo. Insano, lower the gun before I shoot you, and tell me what your problem is."

"Well," Insano says. "He bit Luke, I'm just frightened of Chirpo, don't know why. RC has some reasons he's afraid. Ask him about it."

Can I bring my captured confed cruiser into the battle for sol, and drop a bunch of space bombs on the confeds?

"OK, I want a better excuse. No one getrs to shoot at him until I have a better explanation. I have been appointed vigilante on this issue by a Rebel Admiral."
No one could complain about that, since MA was a Rebel Admiral.

"As for your Cruiser, no. Stay out. You can defend Sirgil Starport, we emptied most of it's sector fleet to attack Regulus. Ooh, tat reminds me, there's a battle I really should be at in the Centauri system!" MA runs out of the bar and into his ship. Then he runs back in. "I forgot, I'm already there, this is my alter-ego. OK, who wants drinks?"

Ok, here's a better excuse. To annoy and anger Rawzer. How's that?

You don't want a couple more space bombs on the unexpecting cruisers? Well, I think you're just a discriminating admiral with no value of a possible advantage. Well, maybe a four cruiser advantage, but that's your choice.

Have you read the thread? Do you have any idea how little difference one ship will make? We have battles of 2oo or 300 ships. Captain Skyblade is running a fleet of almost 700 ships right now, not counting fighters, of which there are thousands. David is pushing 100 ship fleets around like chess pieces. One ship will make no difference.

Anyway, annoying RZ sounds good for shooting at chirpo. Everyone can fire now. MA shoots RZ in the forehead once first, then starts shooting at chirpo with Insano.

Insano puts a bet down of 100 creds for anyone who can hit him first.

I just got a mission to retrieve a weapon prototype from a transport. They told me to search the systems around ruby for it, then return it to palshife. First, where the heck is ruby? And second, what system around ruby will it be in?
