Pillars of Garendall FC1 ( final candidate ), our huge epic fantasy role playing game created using the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/news/upcoming/coldstone_betashots.html")Coldstone game engine(/url), is now out of the door. This package contains the whole game (including the movies and a fully functional plugin system) as it should be released to the world.

Most supremely excellent.

So, to any beta testers that have given FC1 a try, does it seem ready for the scrutiny of your average Macintosh gamer? Or is it likely to run through a few more FC revisions? Or is it even being tested? Curious

Do you actually expect anyone to answer that question? If I answered you, I'd be giving out confidential beta information, I'd likely lose my place in the beta as soon as Andrew found out, and they'd probably unleash... :shudder: Let's just say, it wouldn't be pleasant.

Well, I recall someone stating that the previous build wasn't ready for public consumption, so I thought I'd give this one a try. Either way, actually, I'll be pleased; If it's being held for more, the team cares and we can be assured it'll be a quality game, if it is ready, then I get PoG soon.

I think that was me. I was just stating that it was still in beta, and that it wouldn't be ready for release as it was, which is a given. you won't get any hard info on the game until it's released. well, I'll give you this much: I enjoy it -- whether that means anything or not.

I'll simplify this for you: In this version, stuff happens. If I tell you more, andrew, over there in the corner of the room, is going to let go of the leashes on those rabid dogs. I must go now, because my rice is burning.

Mmm, I haven't had any of that in weeks!
And yay for PoG being almost ready and causing trouble in the CS forums!
