Well, I beat Footsteps of Pyrrhus. (Eventually.) Although my victory on Requiem for a Fleet was cutting it -very- close. Anyone have a -good- way of beating it?

I don't suppose you've tried using one of the beacons as a base of operations, rather than the planet? That (partially) alleviates the "converging from all angles" problem.
