Hundreds of years ago, there was a great library called Alexandria. It contained all the information of the known universe, in it was catalogued all things, great people, and beings. There were also vast amounts of other knowledge such as physics, genetics, space travel, mathematics, and millions of other subjects. It literally contained all the cumulative knowledge of all the alien nations and was accessable to anyone.
However, despite the wonderful things about this vast knowledge base, there were some who objected to it. A group of terrorists attacked the library and managed to destroy it before anyone could resist. The terrorists had written a program that would take all the information in the digital archives and spread it accross the internet, only a few bits at a time, in a seemingly random fashion. So the library wasn't really destroyed, but it would be impossible to gather all the lost information and recompile it back into it's original form. As the terrorists were escorted to a squad ship by the police, after capture, the leader said "only the one worthy of this knowledge will be able to put it all back together." LARK (library alexandria recompiling of knowledge) was founded to attempt to put the information back together, but was able to get virtually nil. Years passed, hope faded, things were forgotten.
But there were those who were waiting for just that moment to strike. A large empire called the Akrahd, captured the Shekra, a small nation on the outskirts of the populated galaxy. The Shekra were forced into cruel slavery. Attention was immediately turned to the Akrahd, and the other nations attempted to negotiate with the attackers. The Akrahd toyed with the peace talks, acting as if their first attack was out of fear and a complete mistake, but all they said was a lie and they built, in secret, another massive attack fleet. Just as the outer nations let down their guard, they attacked. They had learned in their peace talks of the Sereium, and that they they were a major support in the other nation's economic structure. They ruthlessly captured the entire Sereium empire. And rest of the galaxy went into absolute economic chaos. Amongst the chaos, the Akrahd reigned, destroying and enslaving entire populations of people. The people faught back but were disorganized and beaten easily.
At this point, two other alien races, previously neutral, were frightened of the the Akrahd's strength, and that they might be next on the list to be attacked. First the Bek'Neth joined the cruel Akrahd. The Bek'Neth were ruthless, evil, menacing killers. Who cared nothing for their enemies lives. They wanted a piece of the action, as well as protection of their small empire. The Tevkleth joined them next. The Tevkleth had a small empire, but they were advanced, and had powerful beam weaponry that literally ripped holes in ships. Together they joined up to attack the other nations and destroy them.
Soon, the Vathraine and the other remaining peaceful nations realized that they were going to be annihilated if they didn't regroup and attack as one, so the Vathraine, Acarra, Siryains, Traisk, and the Certian formed into the "Alliance". And they figured it out just in time. The Akrahd and their allies were moving in for the final blow, which just happened to be the Vathraine homeworld, Vathria. But the Alliance was ready. They attacked with all their might and caught the Akrahd by surprise. The Alliance, who numbered more than the aliens had thought, were strong and pushed back the hostile forces and recaptured their nations, releasing the captives and gaining more fighters. The battle was the most epic, famous, and by far the hardest fought by anybody in all history. In the end, the Alliance won and the aliens retreated to their more powerful bases. The Vathraine continued to fight, and soon the Vathraine had recaptured about half of their original territory....
....Now it's your turn....

Sounds pretty good, Nova! Just a quick hint, this might have been more appropriate for the Chronicles board than for the Newswire board, mostly because of it's length, and partly because of it's content, but nevertheless.....
Sounds like it'll be a good game Nova! I'll keep my eye out for this one when it's released. Good luck!

Thanks.
And yeah, but I'm always confused on where things like this go. I once posted something here, and it was moved to the webboard. And now your saying this should go somewhere else. Is the newswire cursed or something?
Thanks anyway.
