Addons page files

some simple requests

When you upload a file to be reviewed for addition to the addons page, can you please ensure that you include a readme file containing:

• your name (or your screen name)
• contact details (email etc*)
• the date of public release for your file

Also, please ensure that you include a coherent and useful description of your file in the requisite description box - without a description, your file will not be released, and if you have not included contact details we will be unable to get in touch with you in order to correct the issues.

If, after you upload a file that meets these criteria and it hasn't been released after two weeks, please feel free to send a private message to one of the Coldstone moderators to let us know, and we will attend to the matter as soon as we can.

You want credit for your work. Make it easy for us to place the credit where it is due

  • NB: If you are uncomfortable making your contact details public, please contact a moderator via PM when uploading the file so that we are able to contact you ourselves if need be.

I would like to add one more request to those above. If you are submitting a game or plugin to a game, please have a few people test your submission before you ask us to place it on the addons page. There are many members willing to do this for you, all you need do is ask.

It is appropriate to give credit to your test team in the Readme file.
