Hello, I have been having trouble with Coldstone reading image files. I use Fireworks to save the images and Coldstone just stopped accepting images saved in Fireworks. I have tried both .pic and .png 8 formats. Other programs, like Quicktime, can read the files just fine.

I have had problems with graphics saved by other programs before. I would just use Snapz Pro to capture the picture, and put it into the right format. As long as it was in a window this worked for me.
If that won't work for you... you may be able to copy and paste or open it in PhotoShop and then save it as a png.

Ok, I tried Snapz Pro X 2.0. Coldstone sees that file. However Coldstone now reads it with a white boarder surrounding the picture. I have tried using Graphic converter to resave the picture, however Coldstone will not read that file ether.

It's my experience that a white border means you made your graphic with the anti-alias on. Use no anti-alias. I use Fireworks also, but always take a picture with Snapz Pro 2 as a .pct file. Make sure it's 72 dpi though. Sometimes by saving, the app will change that.
Good luck!

Thanks Debra! The resolution was switched down to 10dpi somehow. I switched it back to 72 dpi and it works fine now.
