I have just found out from Graham (due to Graham's map-loading problem: (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum48/HTML/002447.html#")http://www.ambrosias...ML/002447.html#(/url)) that a bunch of the pictures in the RoyalGuard NPC walking animation on the CS cd are corrupted. I have managed to "uncorrupt" them and if anyone plans to use the animation you can email me or Graham for a copy.

They aren't corrupt but I have noticed that the Sci-Fi characters are way to small for the rest of the pics

I used a Royal Guard in Damsels in Distress and had no problems with him. It has been said on this forum previously that the files were corrupt but no one has reported to me that this character does not work. What exactly is wrong with the graphics?

They crashed the map he was using and blackish lines on the right/bottom. Also, an image checker he uses also finds them corrupt. This occurred on both of our CDs. Perhaps since some CDs were printed at different times only the ones in a certain series have the corrupt file?
Does anyone else have the problem with the Sci Fi characters? If anyone has some that are the correct size then I would be very greatful if you could send them to me. Until Strata CX comes out in June I am holding back on making my own character graphics for Space and the PoG characters may look out of place in screenshots.
I think Debra posted some uncorrupted Royal Guard pics in the addons section. I may be remembering incorrectly though.

No, that was something else. I was not able to satisfactorily fix the Royal Guard graphics. I'm planning on making my own Royal Guard pics, but can't right now. I'm sorry.

They're fixed now... 100% back to normal. Ask Graham.
EDIT: RD, I just realized something: You were making a plugin. The version included in PoG is working fine, I'm sure (we see guards all the time...). The issue is with the Royal Guard picture on the CS cd. Try putting it in a new plugin (taking it off the CS cd) and watch all the maps that use it crash (assuming of course, that the picture is actually called the same thing in PoG... they may have renamed it). :

Actually I did mention this about a year ago. I had the maps crash in OS-X while playing the game. The editor was fine, but that doesn't animate! I fixed my set of guards but they look terrible. Then I asked about it here. I was told to send a message to Amborsia and I did. It's now been over a year (with 3 more reminders) and I still don't have the files from them. Maybe they are going to come out on the new CD. I can only hope. I don't know anything about the future pictures problems. sorry!

I have tried it on my end, inside and outside of my network. What browser are you using?
