I was wondering if anyone here is having problems with Fireworks saving the alpha layer to the .pct file? I use it, but and am having that trouble. If you are having the same problem, please post here. I know some people have older versions of Fireworks and it works ok. But I am specifically looking for the people who have Fireworks MX or Fireworks 2004 or better. Thank you.

My husband has exactly the same problem. He always has to load the files into Photoshop and save them out as 16 bits per pixel .pct files. We're running Fireworks MX on Jaguar and Panther.

Axe, I'm sorry you are having the same trouble. Are you using system 10? What version? Down to 16 bits huh. That's not good. Maybe these posts will help others get a single quality application for their image processing. Anyone one else?

I'm interested in the version of Jaguar and Panther. 10.2.x & 10.3.x? Thank you for trying to help out.
We've had the same problem in ALL versions of OS X we've used this with: 10.x.y where -1<x<4 and -1<y<9.
