Santa Clause came to my house the other day, except he wasn't on a sleigh, or real fat. he was Santa though, I'm sure. Santa driving a Cutlass, a new one, nobody conjure up images of a Pimp Santa, no gold chains in sight. My kids ran to the door to see him, amongst the shouting, grinning and "Santa! Santa! Santa! It's Santa!", stood my little boy. Approximately 2 in both height and age. He didn't say a word, just stood there with eyes wide open. He has heard of Santa, and when asked who's coming to see him would reply "Clause, hurry! hurry!" I think he was frozen with excitement. Santa should come every day, less stuff around my house would be broken.

Just don't lean in too close to him. He's quite fond of reaching out and gumming noses at the moment(I'd call it biting but he has no teeth to speak of, and it really is more like sucking and grinding on the noses he captures).

I hope that when this year ends I will finally have more time to devote to my online duties. To sum up my latest round of time crunchers:
We're remodeling at work, expanding the show room and redoing the parts room. We have stayed open during the construction which has been a royal pain in the butt. I'm getting a new office and the office I've been in has been demolished, leaving me without a "home" for about 3 weeks now. This has put a serious cramp in my online time at work.
We just bought a house and moved this past weekend. Ugh, I hate moving. Thankfully we won't be moving for a long, long time, if ever again.
My mac died during the move. I don't know how, or why, but it worked when I packed it up for the move, and when I unpacked it it did not work anymore. Argh...
I've been writing a course for the local University here in town which had a deadline of Friday the 12th. Been working on this course for about 2 and a half months. I'm so glad that thing is done and turned in. I don't really even care anymore whether or not we get approved for it, I'm just thankful that I don't have to spend any more time or energy on writing it. Gah gah gah!
Thanksgiving/Christmas travel plans for family. With all the good that comes with marriage, I could do without the numerous households that need to be visited around the holidays. Ugh, if I'm not driving 5 hours to Kansas City, KS, I'm driving 4 hours to Aurora, IL. Some company needs to come out with a credit card that gives frequent driver miles for a free taxi ride.
For those that know my martial art background, I've been preparing for my latest degree test which was held on Saturday the 13th. It's been 4 years since I was able to test last and I've had much to prepare, including writing a 19 page paper. That was stressful, heh.
Christmas shopping. I don't think I need to elaborate.
My daughter's birthday party will be held on New Years eve, and she'll have several of her young friends over to spend the night. I'm soooo looking forward to quite a few 11 and 12 year old girls spending the night at our house. :rolleyes:
Thankfully, however, just about all of my time crunchers have ended or will be ending at or aroudn the New Year. After I take a day or two to unwind(read: sleep and drink), I should be back in force.
