I started a plugin and added everything i want but now i can't finish it so that it works :frown: . Because most plugins have a data file and everything setup but my plugin was made just by creating a new plugin adding a few files and quiting coldstone. What did i do wrong? P.S. where can i download poser? ------------------ joe shmoe

You also created a topic (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/001408.html#")here(/url). Please stick with one topic. And please read my response on the other topic (which I saw first).
Remember that the Ambrosia Webboards are not chatrooms. You will not get instant answers to your problems. It takes time (usually within a day) for people to respond. If you want a chatroom, go to the IRC channel #coldstone (but you probably won't find anybody there).

Actually, Thunderforge, the question belongs here and not on the PoG board.
poger, you have to have all the right components in place for a plugin to work. When you start Coldstone and chose "Plugin" rather than "Game" it will ask you where to find the data file for the parent game. Look for it in the PoG folder.
When you have put in the events which you want to happen with the Event Editor, go to one of the top menus which is called "Project" and select "Build Release". This will then compile the plugin in the correct format.
Read the Coldstone manual. It's not the best, but it is the place to start.

Hi. Yes, as RD says, your question belongs on this board. Some members don't stray from this board to read topics on other boards.
I don't think that you can download Poser, but you buy it and they send it to you. (url="http://"http://www.curiouslabs.com")http://www.curiouslabs.com(/url)

I think I know what is going on with poger825's plugin. But before I can help, I need to know what it is called, or if he even gave it a name.

Have you read the Coldstone User Manual? It is in a folder called "Docs" along with a "Coldstone Plugin Tutorial" which you should also read. I strongly suggest that you should go through the tutorial and make a sample plugin first. Those are your step by step instructions. ~RD
From the coldstone add-ons section, you can download the coldstone tutorial, it may help more then the manual (it did for me )

Ok I read the user manual, and made a super cool cheat plugin and I am ready to compile it but for some reason the build release platforms are all grayed out  . Why? And what can I do to make it stop.
P.S. I don't have a registered version.........yet

A plugin works in all platforms so there is no need to select a platform.

Download (url="http://"http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html")Stuffit Expander(/url) which should contain drop stuff. Launch drop stuff, set it to compress to .sit format(don't bother with .hqx), then drag your plug-in folder onto the drop stuff box. It should compress and leave you with a .sit file that you can then upload.
Be sure to include in your plug-in folder a readme file telling how to use your plug-in, your author information(name, email address), and anything else that you want the user to know.
You can then upload it to the PoG plug-in directory.

Plug-ins must first be reviewed and approved by a moderator before they are available for download.
How long do I wait before he approves?
