I want my game to cut to a quicktime movie when the player steps on an event tile at the end of the level. How do I make the movie play fullscreen?

I have never tried this myself, BUT it could work!
Try make a new location of type main location (it could be just a black screen. Then use stamp control to put the moovie there, where you want it. and have the stamp to "on click" teleport to the place where the cutscene ends.
OR
You could just make a map with the moovie and use stamp control there to. And also change the player icon to something transparent.
Try it! Thats all I can think of...

You use a dialog action to show a QT movie. When selecting the movie in the dialog window, there are a number of zoom levels, up to x5. Make your QT movie a factor of your game's resolution and use the appropriate zoom multiple.
Be warned that playing a QT movie over a map that contains stamps of any kind causes it to flicker. Teleporting to a black tiled location is a good idea here.
Also, search the boards for more info on QT movies. You should find a lot of info: I seem to remeber more than a few topics on it.

And be warned that QT movies and MP3 files do not play on Win98/ME.
and I still did not get a fixed date on when they are ready to test again even though David Dunham promissed to do so. Not even a date for testing. We sure are left in the dark and hung out to dry.

I'm only just starting my game and it will probably take a couple of months to complete so I'm in no rush. If it comes to it I will just have to release the windows version later.
