What other programmes have people used to make games and how much easier would you say Coldstone is than them ( use a scale of 1-5, 5 being miles easier, 1 being slightly easier.) I have used: Flash : 4 Apple Media Tool : 2
------------------
Well, I have tried to use a lot of them.. like TNT basic and Revolution. But I always get stuck in the scripting things
I'd say coldstone is the easiest I have tried... Because of the scripting.
so I guess both of them gets a 4

I've tried not very many others, just C++ and Flash and the green machine but I'd say you would be best to go on. If you are even having problems with coldstone. The best 3 options are:
I'm working on a switch to director, which is more complicated than Flash, but less than C++
I got an example on how to do a room based adventure game/rpg like stuff using director 7 which can be bought at ebay for about 80$. Wait a little longer and that will be the price one pays for director 8.
But I still would like to be using Coldstone - even though scripting is not a problem to me - because coldstone keeps the scripting away from the user and that results in more attention to the creative aspect of the game. But the drawback is that creating more complicated stuff is not possible.
I do hope they fix that QT and MP3 bug on win98/ME
