Okay I give up. How in the hell do I use Photoshop 7 to load an image as an alpha mask for another image and then save as alpha-masked png? Cinema 4D is a lifesaver for the special effects in my game, but it's no good if I can't use the alpha masks I've been telling it to render.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but the search feature's a little broken right now.

briefly i may have excluded this but pasting your color image into the alpha channel will cause the image to be converted into a grayscale equvalent, this effect works quite nicely like a phot negative for transparency but it give you a guideline for masking, selecting ccolor ranges and filling in opaque areas(white)

The file has been emailed to you, best i can do. I sent a copy to myself, downloaded and viewed said file, no issue. 'PNGetc', 13k, 4 pages.
*downloaded and checked link from a pc miles away, the host has undergone recent changes, it has proven itself to be unreliable.
