Pooling Talent

Hey there,

I've noticed that the Coldstone Forums have postings of a slightly irregular nature, and I would like to pose a question: is there a permenant bulletin board where people can post their projects or specialties?

There are tons of users in this forum, but I'm not really aware of what kind of work they all do. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a massive list of all the users with their ambitions and "trade"?

I know everyone on this forum basicly wants to make games, but games (or the kind of games we all want to make) are most successful when created by a team of people pooling their efforts.

I know that's essentially the point of this forum, but perhaps we should create a "classifieds" thread so that everyone can "put their cards on the table."
is this a good idea?

Not in thread form. People would forget to search, there's no sticky topic thing here, see. Then the evil moderators would be forced to drag themselves away from Uni or Just Chat( :p) and do something about it. There would also be the guy who offered services June 10th, 2003, and some other guy wondering if he can help him on September 3rd, 2004, chances are, that guy would be long gone.

There is hope though. Straytoaster has created (url="http://"http://www.avidgamers.com/Coldstone_Dev/")this(/url). A way for members to get in touch with others concerning collaborations, etc. Not very active as of now, but it could be...
