Very nice, Up until now i had absolutely no idea what you were working on...an intriguing surprise and a beneficial deviation from the norm.....
just so y' know i'm a concept maniac and i as well have a card game in dev, it can't be nearly as complex, its mostly numeric and based on subtraction, a ....just so you don't get pissed and call me a thief....like later muuuuuch later, if i ever finish what i'm working on now.

Thanks for the compliment. I can't say this idea is entirely original either, but hey, how many original ideas are left?
looks fun, no clue how it will pla etc but it sounds appealing.

Very nice card backgrounds. The tents have a very medieval color scheme, but they look almost too new. My husband is complaining that they sort of clash with the subtlety of color in the card backgrounds. He'd also like to see some more variety in color in the grass tiles (i.e., some more yellowish tones). The GUI looks nice and clean, and I love the status bar.

That's just impressive... damn :)) Could you tell me how you made the ethereal and fire card? (I'd like to know the technique... I think I could re-apply it for creating spells for my own game... I'm not very skilled yet with Photoshop so if you could explain how you made the kind of effect on those two cards... fire and ethereal effect... they're damn good)... and well... nothing is wrong... it's just really good looking... and like ellr'x said somewhere already: "Screenshots... more... screenshots" lol

Very nice work.
And for those playing at home, around a year or so ago DP was, while not artistically illiterate, he was just starting out in the world of graphics.
It is encouraging to see what time and dedication will produce.
Good job man!

you used glitterato? I ve had it for some time now but never think to use it this way... I'll give it a try... I just love the flamming pear's filters... they are really great (for ex, my dialog box was made only using flamming pear's SuperBlade Pro filter)... thanks for the answer
Yeah, flaming pear has some nice stuff. My favorite is probably Tesselation. Perfectly seamless tiles without breaking a sweat. I've found that the easiest way to get the correect size tile is to start with a tile double the intended size, then scale down in Tesselation.
Tesselation do that???????????????? wuaaaaah I love you man... creating tiles is my nightmare.... I just don't know how to do them... it was a reeeeaaaaaaaal pain till now... I used Photoshop7's tiles filter with very little success... gonna try tesselation as soon as I m back home

Ahh, nothing like a good tesselation to bring out the baby talk.
