Level 12 Freeze! Is there anything I can do?

Well I just switched to a new old computer (I was using an LC III, now I use a Performa 631 with a 68040.) Ares worked fine on my old computer and I really like being in the Bazidanese Battleship (gotta love those pulses!) but for some reason, every time I go to Level 12, a little ways into it, my computer freezes, and I mean freezes bad, so bad that control-command-power button doesn't work so I have to manually restart it. I've tried alotting 32 megs of RAM to the game, but no effect... any suggestions?

Oh yeah. (seeing as how this topic is basically over)

I still have one, my Performa 636 is resting nicely on my desk upstairs, and I still use it...when the family iMac is being used. 🙂 It works great, especially for applications such as...Ares. gasp

My old, old Peforma 450 can't even run the installer for Ares without crashing 😕

I have a plan so ingenius even an idiot could have devised it. On my command, we will line up our ships and fly straight into the enemy death-cannons clogging them with wreckage.

Thank you everyone... by the way, I was kinda surprised that Ares worked so well on my old LC 3, even the original EV didn't work real well and EVO was REALLY SLOOOOW. the performa is my brothers old comp, he got it in 1995. now he has a new (do i dare say it?) PC. actually i'm writing this on a pc, my comp doesnt have a connection. anyway, thanks. 🙂
