Game development

Hi. I know that this is not a specific coldstone related post, but more about game development in general. I found a magazine devoted to game development called: Game Developer. The articles seemed pretty interesting and while not coldstone specific, some of the topics could be applied to creating coldstone games. Also I was wondering how everyone's games (or game plugins) are coming along? My own game is still in the writing stage (61 pages and about half done) but I have tested some things in Coldstone.

Would it be possible to start a thread where people could give (monthly) progress reports on how their game is shaping up?

Our game is coming...you know, we got a few graphics, a little code, some inspiration, and all the needed tools. Stay tuned.

I personally have no problem with starting such a thread, as long as it is kept reasonably under control... if you do start a thread as such, please make sure you note that it isn't really for idle discussion, merely for status updates... Anyway, go ahead and start one. If it gets too out of hand, I'll close it, but otherwise I think it could be quite useful.

Of course, not everyone will use it. But it might be nice to see what kind of progress (or lack thereof!) people are making.

My plugin is in the very late Beta stages with only a few small bugs to work out. It should be finished soon, but I am not sure of an exact release date. I am being kind of lax on recording progress. The only people who know where the plugin is at are me and by Beta testers. I am hoping to get it out by the end of January, but no guarantees.
