Image White Border

To get rid of the white border around images:

1. Open your PICT (.pct) image in Photoshop (I have 7.0)
2. Make the image window large enough to see gray around the image.
3. Click on the Magic Wand
4. Click the Magic Wand in the white area away from your image
5. Edit >Stroke
a. width = 2 pixels
b. color = black (000000)
c. location = center
d. mode = Color burn
e. opacity = 100%
6. Click Okay and you've got a black stroke
7. Click the Magic Wand in the gray area to reset it
8. Zoom into the image about 7 times
9. Magic Wand click into the STROKE (the black line you just made)
10. Image >Adjustments
a. Replace Color
b. Leave all as is EXCEPT
(1) Drag Lightness all the way to the right to +100
11. Save image

There's also a simpler way.

1. Get Graphic Converter. Fill the backround in with a random color. Fill in the white left over with the random color. Fill in the backround as white again. There you go! 😄

2. Or, in photoshop, double click on the layer backround (make sure it is SEPERATE from the picture) and name it anything you want. Then, with it highlighted, delete it. Tada! (to get rid of the white fuzzies do what I said in number 1)
