Yes, well I'm sure you'd be able to opt out -- the most important thing is that a user can ask a question, and hopefully get a straight answer -- and have it saved on his drive, ready for his perusal whenever he wants.

I'm sure it will work like discussion_list, delta_v, and ambrosia_announce - you have to actively sign up, and you can easily stop.

Why on Earth would anyone join a list with no opt out option, and what sort of person would suggest making one? Many people on this board would prefer a list, and that's all we're asking for. It seems to me that anyone who wants a "no opt out" list, simply is interested in preventing such a list from succeding, and also wants to suppress Coldstone development...
Looks like this idea went by the way side. Is there no more interest, or did it simply fall in rank due to the barage of other topics? Let's keep up the momentum on this one, I believe a list would be a great asset for anybody doing Coldstone Development!

Yes, I'd probably be interested... though having BOTH web-board AND a list might simply mean twice as much stuff to keep an eye on for those "Crucial Creative Coldstone Creation tips of joy." But count me in, the pros outweigh the cons.

well i was kidding but at this point it seems asif this list will not come tobe unless now that Andrew is back from vacation he revisits this issue.
I think a list would be a great forum but one with massive abuse potential.
on a side note why dont more people use the IRC channel #coldstone?

ok my little brother took an offhanded suggestion and ran with it. so i guess i will be involved in this list (he used my computer and and old yahoo account of mine to set up this list)
