something I'd like to see is amateurs (artists, writers, porgrammers) get together on the web to create games for coldstone. Maybe via this Forum or using some sort of classifieds.
ex.:
Ā Writer looking for an artist who would like to draw futuristic art for my coldstone game. Ā Got a really cool Story for a coldstone RPG, need help making the game, anyone in? heres the basic plot...
Of course, this would have to be all free
Dapper, who created 4 topics today.

No reason to be sorry, the threads in the archive are useful but try to read the posts by Dee Brown, CGE is his baby and his word is final. Most of the Mods have beta exp (i believe) and watch for their insight. EVERYONE ELSE (incl me) makes educated guesses.
Im sorry for the tone of my posts thats just bordom coming through.

On-line collaberation is something that has been going on for years in the Myth editing community. Many large, complex projects have been completed over the course of many months by teams of people from all over the world who have never met in person.
I am a member of one such group. We meet almost every night on a private Hotline server where we chat and exchange files and ideas. I think it's a great way to work. I can be sitting at my home computer in Wisconsin working on some new textures in Photoshop while one of my partners sits at home in Las Vegas modeling a new character annimation, and another partner sits at his computer in Sydney Australia working on the storyline, and the whole time we're chatting back and forth about the project. That's one of the beauties of the internet -- free long distance communication.

You're new here, and aren't aware of this, but we must have a million people here who want to work in Coldstone but need an artist. This isn't a great place to post help threads. It isn't a bad thing as much as it is just futile.
You could always use the built in Coldstone art. Check this out: (url="http://"http://www.beenox.com/Images/previews/coldstone_interface001.jpg")http://www.beenox.co...nterface001.jpg(/url)
On the other hand, Captain Skyblade (from the EV web board) is an experienced 3D futuristic art designer. He is often busy, I hear. I don't know too much about him.

Whilst I agree with you that it would be cool if everyone worked well together, Dapper, I think in the first few months after the release of Coldstone, most people who get it will be busy tinkering and experimenting, trying to find their limits within the engine. After this, it is eminently possible that a close-knit community could spring up with advertisements such as you mentioned, but that is probably too far in the future for me to see. And since the idea behind Coldstone is that you don't have to be programme to make a great RPG, you might find that most artists would rather both make their own art, and then construct their own game.
However, if your idea does kick off, and people do adverttise..... Anybody need a good writer/scriptwriter?
