I got a question: How can you make maps (programs?) like the map you can see by the beta-shots from POG?

Coldstone comes in with a built in map editor. You lay down your tiles and then add features (such as a tree or whatever) to make it interesting an functional. I think that should answer your question.

Or, if you're referring to the "map overviews" like "pog_kingdom.jpg" and "pog_10.jpg", the answer is: A combination of Coldstone's built-in features and Photoshop.
