I have noticed that if a switch's Extra1 is higher than it's Extra2, the switch will not deactivate. Was that intended? -FF

I don't think so, but why would you want to do a destructable switch anyway?
Well, before I knew this bug, I had put a switch with an Extra1 of 2, and the Extra2 of 1. If you shoot at it with any color, nothing happens, like if you shooted at a wall
If you put in a switch with an Extra1 of 1 and Extra2 of 0, you can deactivate it with the yellow gun and destroy it with enemy shots <_<. I learned this the hard way.
