Rescue From Chorca
Chapter 1- Before The Wonder
After an astounding battle in the Dogover system, the UE overtook the Voinian forces protecting the planet. The UE's warships cleared a path for a freighters holding UE marines and docked at the station. The Marines tore into the station, shooting down all Voinians with their Blaze pistols. The marines rescued a Voinian defector named Griswen and took over the station. The UE Destroyer U.E.S. Freedom took Griswen back to Earth.
Various cargo missions were sent to the empty station of still rotating above Pareen. Their goal: To restore Pareen as a station for massive help against the Voinians. A man named Overrider720 was the Pilot of the U.E.S. Retaliate and was a well know battle pilot. Overrider, also called OV, was called in to make the final cargo run to the station. Overrider was to pick up Griswen from the Mestor system after the U.E.S Constant carried Griswen to Mestor from Liat and take him to Pareen. As Overrider was preparing for the journey to Mestor, the news came through.
Chapter 2- Surprise!
The U.E.S. Constant jumped into the Chorca system. Captain James scanned the system for ships. The crew consisted of Captain James, First Mate Sirius, and Griswen. "No need to worry, the system is quiet. There's only us," James reassured his worried crew. They figured that renegades would be everywhere in the system. James thought the system was too quiet. James thought the system was to quiet though. It was one of those nervous feelings that you get.
The stars were suddenly blurred by flashes of gray coming everywhere. "Captain!" Sirius shouted. The system was swarming with Voinian Frigates and Cruisers and the fighters rapidly being released.
"Evasive maneuvers! Get the ship ready for the jump! Griswen, man the weapons! Fend off the fighters!"
A freight courier jumped into the system but was bombarded by the firepower of the Voinian war fleet. The same fate was that of a Renegade Helian. The U.E.S. Constant hit the afterburners to evade the incoming fighters. "Shields at 39% captain! Blaze Cannons alone can not hold off these fighters!" Griswen screamed in abject terror.
"Captain" Sirius said in a calmer yet trembling tone. "The scanners are off-line. Make the jump now or were history." The small crew were knocked off their feet as a rocket nailed the Bridge's deflector shields. "Sirius! Battle Maneuver VF-3A!" James shouted. "Sir! That will send us right into the heart of the fleet!" Sirius exclaimed.
"Yes, but it will get those fighters off are backs for a while." Battle Maneuver VF-3A was a maneuver involving having pursuing fighters. It is when the pursued ship suddenly cuts back in the direction of the pursuing ships. The pursuing fighters will "skid" past the ship as it heads for the slower fleet. The ship than precedes to dive, spin, and cut through the fleet in an attempt to cause the ships to hit each other with weapons fire and their own ships.
The Constant flew into the heart of the beast. The tiny shuttle was rocked as the Voinians hit with precise aim. "James!" Sirius yelled as the warning alarm and lights came on. "Hyper drive is down! Shields at 6%! The cargo bay is in flames! We are in trouble, big time!"
"Prepare the escape pod! We must get out of here!" James sighed.
"Griswen, let's go" Sirius said as he lost his footing from another blast from the weapon fire hit them hard. "Captain. Escape pods can't be ejected!" Sirius murmured. James wore a look of a man who has looked death in the eye before. It was solemn and scared.
But luck was on their side for a minute. 2 Freighters jumped in right in front of the pursuing fighters. All the fighters crashed into the sides of the freighters. Explosions blew out of the cargo bays. The solar panels blew off and sailed towards the a pair of Frigates. Both Frigates were hit and exploded with flames flying everywhere.
James quickly contacted Mestor. "This is Captain James of the U.E.S Constant! Voinians have made it to Chorca! We are under heavy attack! Send-" One fighter's remains came flying towards the shuttle knocking out the last of the shields and disabling the ship and continuing to knock out the crew as the ship floated through space. The fiery remains of the freighters fell through a true bottomless hole. Luck continued to favor the UE as 4 more freighters came into the system. A Cruiser tried to swerve away but ended up "skidding" into the freighter as both ships blew sky high. The other freighters meant to get away but the flames and smoke confused the pilot. The 3 freighters drove through the smoke only to crash head-on into the a Voinian Cruiser and 5 Frigates. The rest of the Voinians jumped out back to where they came from, leaving the fiery remains of the freighters and the disabled U.E.S. Constant with an unconscious crew floating through the Chorca system.

Well, there are some major discrepancies with it. Most importantly: Space is 3 dimensional. The chances of all these freighters jumping in and crashing are next to nil. It gives the story a kind of cheesy aspect if you just say "and then a freighter jumped in and all the fighters crashed into it and the pieces flew off and killed the frigates". I would try to make more realistic causes for the destruction of the ships...or maybe they think the shuttle is dead and jump out...
I don't mean to be overly critical...
