I got no other crash on my machine up to now. Only those pop-pop-related ones! Also after reinstalling X!
Maybe someone should react on my reporting that bug ...

Gosh, I don't know how many places I have mentioned this. It seems to be an obscure bug related to pop-pop 1.0.2 (as there are no reports of this before pop-pop 1.0.2 was released. I am DEMO FireFlash and during the last tournament, I crashed LISH's machine once and WhiteRook's machine three times. With all of these new tournaments, this must be fixed.

There is a bug with paddle speeds. On my old beige G3 you could slow the paddle a crawl with a flower attack. Now on my Dual 867mhz PowerMac G4, the paddle moves too fast for me to be able to play reasonably.
That is honestly why I don't play anymore, I get frustrated at constantly loosing because I can't aim for the damn ball!
Try slowing down the mouse tracking speed. Or you could try allocating less memory to the game.

I was trying to think up some more ideas for pop-pop in general, and I was considering long-term 'Stat' tracking for the tournaments.
If you guys wanted I could keep track of your overall records in all the tournaments. Then you could post them in your sigs or wherever you like. It's nothing big really, just something I thought might be cool.

Much as I'd love to be in the tournament, it being held that early on a Monday morning (AEDT) makes it very difficult for me, especially with having to go to work and all. Have a great time, everybody!

We may try to move it to Saturday next week.
I'm relatively new to the Pop-Pop world, but just by reading through the old threads its very easy to see what you guys need is organization.

Hi Number279!
It is very nice to see that you are trying to engage You so much in the pop-pop-community. Since I have never seen a Number279 on the tracker it would be (at least for me) interesting how You call yourself in pop-pop?
Thx, Hyko

Hi, my name on the pop-tracker is also Number279. I haven't been on this weekend because of my location. The first time I will have been on in a few days will be the beginning of the tournament.
I will try to play in todays tournament, but I will need the central time.
Good luck to all. I'll put brackets around my name during the tournament: (msxgames). French keyboards don't have the sign you ask us to use :frown:

You could copy and paste them into your name!
Or you could try to use the keys for normal brackets in combination with "ALT" That should work.
