I hate to perpetuate this thread, but I enjoy the guilds and find that they're fostering friendly competition and good play. You can turn this argument around and say that we're creating some elite that excludes newbies, but if I see a few other {MG}ers on, and i've been having a RASH of people not reading game descriptions and getting slaughtered, i throw up the password, in hopes of getting in some good play.
And it's not like we're not actively recruiting (we're open to those who build up their skill) and it's not like I don't put up open games and play pro games, then chat strategy afterwards.
It's healthy, methinks.

The Mad Cowz "MCz" are a clan, and they seem to be growing pretty good. but i have no clue who the FC's are. and i agree totally with bosk, i almost recruit all day, and the same people keep comin back just to try, and practice. my recruit games are completely open to everyone, its just that if you cant beat me, you dont get in. but you can always come back.

Well, it would be helpful if the mad cows and the "FC"s posted something up here so we all knew whats going on. I've tried to play a game with the madcows, but it doesnt work for some reason, and I need to find out about their clan, so it would be helpful if they posted something here.
I talked to FC-msxgames, and now I know what''s going on. FC stands for French Connection, a new clan looking for french pop-pop players. So far, the players in it are FC-msxgames, and FC-Marshall.
Also, msxgames is going to have a tournament, so 2 PR players or 3 if I can't can enter the tourney. There is a webboard about it, so check it out and post here if you want to participate, PR players. Thanks
French Connection is small - anybody speaking french is warmly welcome ... btw, the tournament looks good, the French and the Swedes have now a team... we gladly take a MC or PR team aboard and start battle. To join in, each player must have sent his handle / E-mail to me - makes life easier to send out gameplay schedule and good lucks ...

I guess I'm the rep of the MadCowz. Me(MCz SHiNOBi) and Michael(MCz paco) started this cuz we liked knowing who we were playing with, so we thought, hey, lets start a clan for pop-pop. We got some people to join and it was all good, we had a group of people who we knew the skill levels and who would be the best for each of us to play. I looked around and started to see clans springing up like wildfire and all this clan-pride junk came around. Who's the better clan, who can beat who else? When people join up with MadCowz, there's none like bull trials, clans aren't like that; or shouldn't be. It's a group of people getting together to play some pop-pop. I don't know about this hostility I'm seeing, I really don't care if you put the MCz in your name, it's just a way of keeping track of who knows our main password. I'm sick of all you anti-clan people, who think you're all that, who say junk like "i just like beating them" and "why join a clan?". I say, "why not join a clan?", it's fun, and you meet some cool people. I don't know the story of other clans, but let's just play some pop-pop.
PS: If I hear any MadCowz are joining in on the junk, I'll shut it down.
