How do you set the conditions to make it so that several planets need to be captured in order for you to pass the mission? I tried looking at the manual, but that didn't help, nor did looking at chapter 19. Someone PLEASE help. I can't finish these missions without this stuff. Also, could someone send me a working example of forward firing beam weapon?

No offense Slug, but I was kind of hoping for Mag's help, especially with the beam weapon, because he has done it before. But any help is more than welcome.
You make the beam travel fast, fire from one spot, and fire very rapidly, I suggest you set the fire time to 1. I suggest you make the beam's initial velocity 50 or so. It looks okay, but sounds weird, and isn't quite the same.

Hmmmm... I tried and it worked--crappily--at best. Perhaps Nathan Lamont can put a little something in so we can make a REAL forward firing beam weapon. (hint, hint)

50? That's a bit slow to look like a beam weapon. Set the firing speed to 1 (the fastest possible). Of course, you'll also have to crank down the weapon's damage because there will be way more impacts.

I meant the travelling speed 50. I said for the fire time to be 1. And I know about the low damage thing. Actually, going back and rereading my post, I've decided that it's a bit confusing. I'll edit it.
