Somewhat off-topic, but I'm curious. How many of you (those that are left) participate in some sort of martial art? I'm trying to breath some life back into the board here...
Any case, you can find out my OWN exciting studies with just a simple reply. OOoooo, what a deal!

I used to do Tae Kwan Do. Then I broke my foot and couldn't do it for a year. I'd forgotten so much, I didn't want to take years to relearn everything, and stopped.

What? Martial arts!? That sounds suspisciously like physical activity, and that would certainly get in the way of my daily regimen of cigarettes, weed and cheap liquor.

I've been studying medieval longsword for a short while now. Eventually I'll probably join ARMA and train at one of their places. It's a lovely and fascinating martial art.

I did Karate for about three years, then got too busy with actually making good grades and had to stop. Planning on getting back into it this summer though since I'll have graduated.

Whoa. A response... I wonder what percentage of the population this is.
I've been studying Aikido for about 2 years now. Best non-aggressive martial art ever.
I've been rather into taekwondo for a little over a year now, but you have to question whether I'm 'here' inasmuch as I don't regularly visit the Ares boards.

I havn't regularly visited the Ares boards in quite some time, but Ares: Override has rekindled my intrest in the game, and at the same time my intrest in the boards. I seem to be doing pretty well so far... three posts in about a week is more than I've done on any other boards recently.
Well, the sad thing is that without Ares there really isn't anything that's common between us.
Okay, that's not wholly true. We DO have quite a bit in common. But not enough apparently.
Martial arts seems to be common in all of the people in this thread. Since we play Ares I guess it's obvious that we're all Mac users... that's a pretty good thing to have in common. I'll bet there's plenty of other stuff too if we bothored to find out :).
Who here is a carbon based bipedal mammal?
I have been in Tae Kwon Do for about a year now. I'm posting here even though I almost never post on the Ares web board.

I've been doing karate in a dojo for 4 years.
