Danielnma walks into mthe bar. Seeing that his old pal skyblade isn't around, He sneaks behind the counter and grabs a free drink. He then quitely sits in a corner, hoping to avoid the ever-present commotion and waits for Skyblade to return.

"Wait just a minute," Skyblade says as he draws his fusion pulse laser pistol. "And where is the money for that drink? Believe me, my security cameras catch everything..."
"Eh, um. Hehe," Daniel responded. "But you're my pal, remember?"
"Ah, yes. That's what friends are for. Now pay for the drink!"

Nope, Overrider isn't leaving for good. I had a chat and a game with him on GR, he says he's getting a new DSL system up, and so his net server is in a state of flux, and he cant find the time. He says he should be back in a few weeks.

Hey Skyblade, can I get a job in the bar? I have experience working at a restaurant, and if the pay is good, I'll be more than happy to work for you. IF i get free drinks. (Don't worry, I won't drink TOO much. ;))
Daniel grabs some ice and pours it down the back of Skyblade's pants
"Hey, what are you doing beating on my Ensign!?" Skyblade roared as he saw Daniel with a hammer. "Nah, you got the wrong guy. Sorry."
Skyblade grabbed the hammer from Daniel and turned it on its original owner. Daniel is soon looking for his head on the bar floor, and his arms are not in much better condition. Skyblade then blasts Daniel's remaining limbs into the deep atmosphere with his pulse gun, and his guards use him for target practice. It isn't long before Daniel looks more like a colorized Salrelian...
"Ok Dan, you've got a job," Skyblade says as he places his gun back in it's holster. "You may mop of your remains, and serve drinks. Any more games, and you'll become an official target practice target. Deal?"
Takes a sip from his Dr. Pepper

Daniel spills Commander's requested drink all over the bar floor
"Daniel!" Skyblade roars as he draws his pulse pistol, "You keep this up, and you'll be paying me to work here."
The shadows shift near the Lord Commander, and more further out in the room.
Can this be a threatening move by the new staff member, or just the clumsiness of poorly paid and badly trained incompetent staff...
...meanwhile the Grog slowly disolves the floor material.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, what's this with Skyblade giving out jobs? I don't believe he ever recieved authorization from me. Explain yourself! Mutters to self and starts serving up all the recently ordered drinks.

Brookeview pulls out an identical looking device and turns it on... "hey bar tender what do you recommend?"
Piemur wakes up from the floor where he had been laying while being trampled and stepped on, and the occasional Grog spill, and looked around. Consulting his personal messaging device, he reads Talon's message. He looks up and says "sorry, im still in the states, and i know i havnt given back the books, and my parents have no idea what we are going to be doing for the thanksgiving and winter breaks. but anyway, bartender, could i have a Sprite?" Being served promptly, Piemur drinks the drink and goes to a personal stall where it is somewhat safer, and watches the action happen. Examining the device brookeview made, he sees that it is an interdimensional warp core. He compares the device with the current drive system on his ship and sees that it could go at about 120% more efficiently in fuel consumtion and 200% in speed, he goes up to him and offers to buy it. After bargaining for a few hours, he finally gets it for a bargain price of Earth equivilant of 30 cents and rushes out to install it in his ship. Then he returns and happily contemplates his great idea. Simply replacing the warp core would increase the stats by 120% and 200% but if he just added it to the system, then it would increase again by 100%. This was great! Just about that time, the ship gives a great shudder and turns a shining white. In a flash, the ship folded in upon itself in a transdimensional rift and turns into a small ship-shaped wormhole. The glare fades from everyone's eyes and the rift seems to be getting larger. Suddenly, a green and brown speckeled monster comes out and starts to shoot green lightning at everyone. Floating brain things fly around shooting globs of orange goo and little crab-like monsters start jumping up at people and grabbing their faces (they happen to be only NPC's). After a few minutes, the bodies mutate and grow large claws which could do a lot of damage. Piemur rises up to the challenge with a crowbar and finding a few other weapons manages to destroy the alien menace and destroy the thing on the other side of the rift which held it open and came back a hero. Then he wakes up and realises he'd been knocked out from what turned out to be the explosion of his ship. He really should stop playing Half-Life...
