I know there was a thread about this a while back but I can't seem to find it. Something about combining the gövt flags or the düde flag somehow causing ships to be immune to all shots or their outgoing shots not being able to hit anything or something like that. Can anyone dig up the link or recall how these flags work in combination?
If a gövt resource is set to be immune to the player, then they will be immune. However, if any ships with attribute inheritance of this gövt are treated as escorts of the player, whether part of a düde or not, all other ships will be immune to their weapons. However, they will still be vulnerable to any weapons besides the player. The player will still be able to damage other ships.
Is that what you were looking for?

This type of behavior was encountered in Arpia II, where Pace and I considered it a bug. You may find more information on the bug on the Arpia public forums, but I don't know how much detail we went into when we documented it.
