It's also easier for organizational purposes and opening plugs faster. All editors will load a 7 megabyte plug faster than a 15 one.

what would happen if i put my plug in the plugin folder, plus absolute minimum, and then removed the stock nova information?

It would work.

I actually didn't have to. once I split the files up and organized them by their contents, it fixed several problems I had been having when it was one file. example, my systems no longer randomly link to the old stock nova universe which was showing up right smack in the center of mine.

Thanks for the advice. It has helped considerably

PS. should I post a screenshot of my system map? it's not finished, but it would give you an insight of how My TC is coming, However, if no one really cares, I won't bother.

Maps are interesting.

O.K. here it is. I can't post the full map becouse it's too big, plus, there are a few secret areas I wouldn't want to give away. 😛

it's in 4 parts. Here is Last Strain Space:

Apophis Space. Last strain space is located below and to the left of Apophis space:

Amourieyan Space. The Amourieyan's are a second alien Race allied with the Apophis. Amourieyan space is located directly to the right of Apophis Space:

and Here are the Freeworlds. They are several mini-government of 2 or 3 systems each unified under a loose aliance. they simply get along and survive. The Freeworlds are scattered all throughout Apophis and Amourieyan Space, but this is the largets collection of freeworlds, and also where their Central World is located.

(Sorry about quality, I had to reduce it quite abit.)

As you can see, not many of the systems are labeled, and not many have planets. This is just to give you an idea of the general layout of the map. Enjoy!

I am once again reassured that this is capable of happening, and now feel even better about working on it! ++!

I'd love to help in any way I can.
I used to be good at 3d modeling, but I no longer have a program for it.
I have a small amount of experience with mission computer.
I have about two weeks off from school for Christmas.
I'm good at thinking of names for ships (yea not really an uncommon thing) and thinking up designs.
I've been an EV fan since before kindergarten (or maybe during... (or maybe a year after... who knows)).
I am a buffalo.

I am a Yoda. nice to meet you. 😛

thanks for the offer. i'll PM you the details later

PS lucky. I only have 1 week off ro christmas. <_<

We actually only have 11 days, but its still better than just a week.

oops. thats off topic, and I would like to keep that from happening.

here's a landing pic:

the planet of daybreak. the primary crop producing world of the Last strain. also has Daybreak shipyards, a small civilian shipyard.

That starmap is kinda.... Big. Are you sure you are able to use all of that?

The Starmap is not big because of the number of systems, but simply because all of the systems are farther apart. (It actually has less systems than stock Nova. I have about 414 systems total.)

but thanks for the concern.

also, I ship. I just finished this about 5 minutes ago:

The Last Strain Cargo courier, plus 2 light fighter escorts. the ship has 2 cargo modules, that can hold about 200 tons each. bay doors on the sides allow for easy loading and unloading.

Very nice. I like the look of your ships.

thank you! 😄
