What does a plugin need?

Hay,
I want to make a plugin for PoG, but I dont know what to do. I have so many ideas that I cannot choose one... Now I am wondering what the players actually want added to the game 😄 I guess most people would make what they want for a plugin themselves... But I wanna make one to 🙂 .

Any help would be nice, thank you...

Ah, I made a (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/001282.html")PoG plugin brainstorming area(/url) which has a lot of ideas; might be helpful. The things I believe a lot of players want:

  • Female class

  • Spell Expander for Rangers/Swordman

  • Lots of missions

  • Neat new items

  • Something that adds to the whole world, not just a few places (like DiD)

Good luck!

i wnat a plugin taht lets u have partiez of 4 peepz liek in final fantsay 6. mutliplayer would b good 2!!! 😛

Seriously, I'd like to see a plugin that doesn't significantly increase the power level of the game. Most of the current plugins make the player more powerful - a Trinity character is more powerful than a standard one, a Spells Expander conjurer is more powerful than a Trinity one, and so forth. This makes the base game less challenging, and limits the playability of the new areas. (I can't imagine playing a conjurer through Damsels in Distress without having first completed Spells Expander.)

I'd actually really like to see some new character classes added to the game - they should not be significantly more powerful than the existing classes (perhaps even somewhat weaker, to challenge the advanced player) and differ significantly from the existing classes in their play style.

Some class ideas that I've had:
-"Martial artist" character that has extremely limited weapons and armor, but has lots of unusual powers.
-"Shapechanger" character whose only form of advancement is to transform into more powerful creatures, rather than gaining levels and buying better gear.
-And so forth.

Thanks for the quick replies 😉

I am sorry to say that adding a female class would not be a very good idea... I mean because the NPCs often say things like "lad", "boy" or "handsome" to you (and I am not skilled enough to make a female ;)). But allright, I now think I will make the game more chelleging 🙂 More enemies, new classes and some other neat things.

Thanks again 😉
