If/when Ducky feels like writing up a walkthrough for his plug-in, I'd be quite happy with having it included in the (url="http://"http://stark.evula.net/pogwalkthrough.htm")PoG Walkthrough and Compendium(/url). However, considering there is only cursory info on Spells Expander and nothing yet on WoC(though, this isn't my fault!), both of which have been out for a while and neither of which is close to the size of DiD, I don't expect for there to be a lot of info on DiD for a while.
Hmm. Speaking of which, I really should complete the Spells Expander section. It's been out long enough.

Speaking of your PoG walkthrough...well, I was anyway...I have a couple comments/sort of corrections I need to email you about, if that's okay...and IF I could just remember what they were. They will come to me eventually.

Go for it.

It's in the mail. Sure, and so is my check.
I meant a hint walkthrough for DiD, not a full fledged walkthrough. But, it probably is a bit premature...

I finally finished it. It took two two and a half days after downloading it. I just have one last question: What is the snake repellant, possom oil, and boot polish for? I didn't need them once.
I think the boot polish increases speed for a short period of time. Not sure about the other two.

I can only suggest that you read their descriptions in the inventory list. ~RD

Well, how are you supposed to sprinkle the snake repellant in front of your tent before you sleep for a couple of hours? And the label says to not use an overdose of it. So I shouldn't use the two things right?
Oh, I'll just load up PoG and find out for myself.
EDIT: Nothing happens! EDIT2: It occured to me that it may change your stats. Am on the right track RD? ------------------ Clones are people two. If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up? As RD said...read the descriptions....and think about what you might do in real life if someone were to sell something with those descriptions...eh?

Well, I certanly know what the toadstools are for, and I don't want to give it away, but collect them when you see them, and don't eat them or drop them. You'll need lots of them. Oh yes, lots and lots of them.

Were you bothered by snakes while you slept? No? Nothing happened? Well it must work then. ~RD

I tried using the tent with and without snake repellant. It made no difference to me.

So...basically...what conclusion would you draw from that then.

Well, I tried boot polish and didn't see any increase in speed, I treid possum oil and I it didn't make anything leather better. Snake repellant didn't do anything either. The only potion that DiD adds that is useful is the jumping bean extract. Still, I don't think Rubber Ducky would put them in just for fun. They must have some use somewhere...

Again I say...read the descriptions very, very carefully...does everything you pick up off the floor or buy at the store have a use and/or really work....As Pooh would say...think, think, think....otherwise...I guess I'll just leave this answer to RD to go over with you.

Hey, I finally registered. Anyway, I just have one question: Are the bug spray and whetting stones avalible anywhere else in the plugin? There are "out of stock" at Doc's shop in Upper Berglum.

Well, welcome to the boards as a full fledged registered member! However, I'm gonna leave that question to Ducky too. I don't know how much he wants to "give away" about anything...so I am really being presumptuous in answering anything regarding DiD yet.

Doc claims these are unique items that no other shop will carry. I believe him. If he is out of stock, I guess you're out of luck.
Now as to some other items which several players have asked about:
From inventory description: Boot polish not only fosters a sharper image but has been reported by satisfied users to increase speed. An independent laboratory has yet to confirm this.
First ask yourself, "Do I want my boots to look great while I'm chasing creatures?" If the answer is "Yes!" then, by all means, use it. Next ask yourself, "Am I a satisfied user?" If the answer is "No." then do what I would do, and go back to Doc and complain. As for speed, read the last sentence of the description.
From inventory description: Possum oil will not only keep your leather goods supple but has also been attributed to curing insomnia and homesickness. Do not take internally. Keep out of the reach of children.
Apply the principles of the answer above to this as well. If you are under the age of 18, you should not even have this in your possession.
From inventory description: An independent survey of those who use snake repellent on a regular basis shows that only 3% have ever been bothered by snakes. Directions: Sprinkle around tent before sleeping.
I have to ask two questions here: 1) Do you use snake repellent on a regular basis? If the answer is "Yes" then you qualify to be included in the survey. 2) Have you ever been bothered by snakes in Garendall? If the answer is "No" then the stuff must work.
If you have issues with any of the products, do what any irate consumer would do, and take them back to the merchant and demand your money back. That's all I will say about the items available at Doc's shop.
Edit: typo

Well, goblin must use them then, because just about every time you kill a fire-throwing goblin added by DiD, some of these items are dropped. I'm done asking about this though.
