TCs

Just a question

When doing a TC do you have to replace all the currently used recorces. If you don't, what can you do to keep them from appearing in the game?

Replace the whole thing TC means total CONVERSION

You can remove the files in the Files folder and replace them with your own. This is generally what a TC is, rather than just a large plugin in the plugins folder.

You'll find Absolute Minimum very helpful.. Still trying to find time to email you BTW.

I know what TC means. But my problem is I'm going from 6 major peoples to just 2 or 3. That causes reductions in alot of rescorces including misn, weap, outf, govt, and pers. Could I put the unreplaced rescorces into the TC, but make them only available if a NCB is set. And that NCB will never be set in the default scenario.

Blank resources that are never referenced, or just replace the data files.

Just change the name of the folder 'nova files'. This gets rid of EVERYTHING.

Then you need to add back in the Absolute minimum. There are some things nova wont run without.
