I have read the Walkthrough, and still have spent more than an hour trying to set this clock, with no luck.
I can't step ON a button. POG's movement is not precise enough. When I step back on the button to set the minutes for the second time, the minutes hand does not move. So I assume that this is confirming the setting.
However, every time I step back on the leftmost button, the hour hand moves. If it is already in what I assume is the correct position, it moves out of position.
Just what does it take to make this clock work?

The vertical path sets one hand and the horizontal path sets the other. No one has ever given an understandable sequence to guarantee success. My method is to fool around on one path until it is right and then do the same with the other. I could not tell you what I did to make it work but it usually takes me about five minutes to get the hands set. As you pass over the "buttons" the hand changes, but sometimes it doesn't change if you hit it too many times. If you get what I call a "stuck button" you just have to go to the next one.
There must be a logical solution to this, but I have searched the boards for it and not found a method which works. The various "buttons" obviously affect the hands in different ways. No one (to my knowledge) has researched it enough to explain the logic or what the "buttons" actually do. It would take some time to study. Care to accept the challenge?

In case this helps--you have to make the clock the same time as the little clock at the top of the square-- I believe it's 1:15.. (edit: I had trouble with the walkthrough on this one too-- I just tried and tried until I got it to work..) ------------------ They say that if you play a Windows Install CD backwords, you hear satanic messages. Heh, heh. When I first did the puzzles (without walkthroughs), I didn't realize that this was true for all puzzle until the clock puzzle. I would just try to get a pattern where it was symmetrical and then I would check and see if there were sparkles around the teleporter circle.
