dose anyone know about a plugin that lets you actually get a termite and ride it

Unfortunately, i haven't seen any.

You are right there. Riding anything, be it termite, horse, or go-cart, would entail replacing all of the hero graphics with ones on the thing being ridden. A tremendous job in itself. But then you would have to know the code for the hero to do the replacement, and Beenox/Ambrosia have not released the source code on the game.
It is next to impossible to alter any of the original characters in the game because you cannot do much with what is already there. That's why all of the plugins use characters which have not been introduced before. You cannot, for instance, have Septemris say something new unless you can find out how to get rid of the original Septemris and substitute another.
You could make a new termite and have it follow you around like a puppy, but you can't make it fight for you. Besides, it would really be in your way when you did have to fight someone. Even Princess Jadyn gets under foot sometimes and pins the hero into a corner when she follows too closely. ~RD

This is similar to Spells Expander's Magic Mirror spell. It is helpful, but it really does get in the way.

Couldn't you have an item (a summoning stone or something) that brings up a dialog saying that the termite came to you, then it activates a spell that changes your appearance so that you have the graphics with you on the termite, then you have another item that can get you off the termite (a dialog box says that he went away). Better yet, instead of an item, what about a key to summon and unsummon the termite (you could do the same for a horse too, since the opening says that you are the master of the royal riding school).
