DeRLE problems

DeRLE isn't working for me, I think. Even when I'm just DeRLEing a single ship from one of the EV Nova data files, it takes forever, and all I see is a completely uninformative blank window, which doesn't go away until I quit out of frustration. I'm using an old version I managed to find on the addons page... is there a newer one that perhaps fixes such a bug?

Off the top of my head.... Try:

• Copy just the RLEs you want into a new plug. The size of the Nova Files files may be choking the program.
• Increase the memory allocation to the program (if you are in OS 9).
• Re-download from the w00tware NovaTools page (link in my sig).

Never had that problem. You using the option to scan from the rlës directly or do you use the spďn files?
I'd suggest you play around with the options.

Gosh, I'm so stupid... I figured out what the problem was.

I was trying to DeRLE "Nova Graphics 1". Of course, unlike the other two games, the ship graphics aren't in that file. They're in the "Nova Ships" files... silly me.
