Let's say 3:00 PM Central Daylight Time. Does that sound okay, The Cheat?
I'll need your guys' messenger names.
And why don't you like AIM Sept? I like it better than Msnger.

Septcanmat, just grab iChat from Apple Computer. It interfaces with AIM, and kicks the bum out of MSN Messenger.
Trust me on this.

There's someone in the universe who still uses Mac OS 9?
Good lord. Words fail me.

Didn't Matt himself once say he had no plans to ever use OS X as his primary OS?

Do I sense that this is getting off-topic?
After today, I like the idea of e-mail. Leave your e-mail addresses here if you are, or want to be, part of this project team.

Hmmm...I wonder what my name could be...
Yah. Me. Rather silly to have spent my money on EVN instead of a hard drive large enough to handle OSX, wasn't it?

Sorry, kids, but a five year old operating system based on a dying 12 year old one has got to expect problems with modern interoperability.
I loved my Classic Mac OS, at around the System 6 mark. It was gorgeous back then. Nowadays, I like not crashing. Ever.

Mazer, sure, Nova's a good buy. But if I were in your shoes, I would've gone the HDD. :frown:
As for Matt, well, he uses Mac OS X on occassions, but Mac OS doesn't really feature in his life any more. He uses Windows now for fun and profit.
best always,

Hey, that sounds like Windoze
Hey guys, i got a little preview. It isnt done yet, but thats the main shape of it. Daniel, tell me what faction (government) it would fit in and give me their color scheme.
To tell you the truth, it looks a little too modern for the time, but it may just fit into the Pirate group. Their color scheme is dark, dark, dark green, with just a little bit of black.
The preambles can now be found at (url="http://"http://solarsystemforevn.cjb.net/")http://solarsystemforevn.cjb.net/(/url) .

The texture on it now is not the final texture. Yea, it does look a little modern. Ok. Have you worked on a pirate symbol? I was thinking the old Skull and crossbones. That good for you?

Yes, I was thinking that too, since we're not too far in the future here.

glad you like my idea. I didn't know iChat interacted with AIM, and on that topic, i do have OS X(Panther actually), and thus have iChat, how do i add people to my "contact list"?
About the preamble, the bit about Ambrosia releasing EV Nova, and Bill Gates ending up in prison is pretty funny, but doesn't really have anything to do with the rest of the preamble. It'd probably be better off without that, but if you really want to have them in, I suggest a better phrasing than "mind control" - it sounds too informal.
Also, we already have laser weapons, and we can already separate the hydrogen and the oxygen in water, by electrolysis. Plus, the Star Wars Defense System never worked, so it was never built.
Edit: And when you say "too modern", do you mean too old, or too new? Our modern is a hundred or so years in the past for them.
